The First Son

The Pub

I woke to see Elizabeth in her hoodie and ripped jeans standing in the kitchen making a cup of coffee.

"Hey... your finally awake. Want a coffee?" She says in a tired voice.

"Um, sure why not"

She turns on the kettle to heat up the water to make me a coffee.

"So um... how long have you known you've had powers." I say in a concerned voice.

"Well I first found out I had powers when I was in high school, i found this out when there was a blade of grass growing up to my wrist."

I stare into her eyes for a bit until she brings the coffee over to me, she walks back as soon as she gives me the coffee. I take a sip of the coffee and compliment her.

"This is amazing coffee Elizabeth."

"Thanks Aleck" she says while blushing and hiding into her hoodie. "You can just call my Liz."

"So what are we going to do today Liz?" I ask hoping we would do something fun.

"Well I was thinking we could go get you a phone and new clothes, because you kind of.. you know... smell."

"Thanks for letting me know Liz."

She pulls out her phone and pulls up directions to the closest electronics and clothes store.

"So are we heading out now or in a little bit?" I ask in a shaky voice

"I think we should head out now so we can fit a little training in throughout the day."

We get up and walk do to the bottom of her apartment, we walk out of the hotel and into the quiet street heading towards the city of Seattle, we finally find the electronics store to get me a phone, Liz walks up to the man in charge and buys me a phone.

"Here is your phone Aleck." she aha while handing me a phone.

"Thanks", *buzz* " hey I got a message."

I look at my phone to see what it was, it was a message from Liz, as I look at it another message comes through it was a message with directions to the clothes store and another message saying *hey you need to get to know this city* I look at her and nod and leave the store.

"I really like her." I say I my head.

As I look at the directions I realize that im already outside the store, i go inside and buy a few clothes. I pull it out my phone and message Liz.

*Aleck:Got some new clothes

Liz:They look nice

Aleck:Hey I was wondering if you wanted to do something before night falls

Liz:Sure like what

Aleck:Maybe go to that pub we first met at

Liz:Sure*

I walk back to the apartment were Liz was, I knocked on the door and waited a few seconds before Liz opened the door.

"How was shopping?" she ask in a excited voice.

"Um... yeah it was good.. I guess, lots of people stared at me though." I say in a tired voice.

As I walk into the room holding a pile of clothes and dropping them on the couch.

"So when where you thinking of going out to the pub?" Liz says in a flirty voice.

"Well I was thinking of going out now if that's ok with you."

She nods and takes off her hood revealing her gorgeous misty blue and whit hair that she slides her hand through.

"Wow, you look gorgeous." I say in a whisper.

"What was that?" she says turning around to face me.

"Um... um nothing."

"Ok."

I get changed into some of my new clothes and me and Liz start walking to the pub when we arrive avert one in the pub bolts.

"Looks like we got the pub to ourselves." she says while going behind the bar. "what will it be sir?" she says pretending to be the bartender.

"Um, what ever will get me drunk fast."

"Whiskey it is." she says pulling out two full sized glasses.

She pours whiskey in both of the glasses handing one to me and her hold the other one we clink glasses and say.

"CHEERS!"

After a few hours in the pub both of us where so drunk we couldn't even stand I was laying on a table and Liz was laying on the bar itself and we both had glasses laying all around us.

"I think-k we shou *hiccup* should s-start heading back to my apartment now." Liz said in a drunk voice.

I just nodded and tried to stand up but couldn't so Liz came over and helped me up as we started walking I said something to her.

"Did you know *hiccup* your so pretty I *hiccup* like you."

She blushes and says the same thing back to me, we walk into her apartment and I head for the couch but she take me to her room.

"I thought you didn't like people in your *hiccup* room." I say still half drunk.

"I can make and acceptation with you."

We start hugging and I kiss her and we fall into her bed.
