Chapter 12: Visiting the Small Town

Koki and Jimmy Z were in the Createrra driving to the small city they were heading to get supplies. They might need food and items for the search of the monster. They were getting close as they can spot citizens. They slow down the Createrra and got out of the vehicle to start their search. They walk in the town and look around in amazement. There were many small stands with fruits, vegetables, and any type of food the citizens were serving during this time our hour. The streets were filling with people on motorcycles and old vehicles to travel around.

The two Wild Kratt group members were looking around each stands, with the people behind the counters trying to get their attention to buy their items. Jimmy Z was feeling hungry to see many good looking food as Koki was looking hard for the right food. They saw an old Latino woman with gray hair behind a stand with many fruits and vegetables. The two members walk to her and she notice them arriving with a smile on her face.

"Hello there, do you want my fruits and vegetables. I have clean then with my bare hands," the old woman said.

The two members look at the fruits and vegetables to see they all are spotless. Koki was the first to grab a mango as Jimmy Z grab a simple apple. They look at the woman, which the woman nods her head to allow them to take a bite. Their eyes sparkle in joy with the delicious taste of the fruits was in their mouths.

"I see you like them. You can take how many you want, just don't forget to pay," said the old woman as Koki and Jimmy Z begin to take whatever fruits and vegetables they want.

Back with the Kratt brothers, Chris was in a Bighorn Sheep suit as Martin was in a Coyote suit facing the fake Chupacabra. Aviva was controlling the fake monster as she moves it to charge at the brothers. Chris was the first to move away from the creature as Martin simply jump over its head. Its claws were reaching for Martin, yet Chris charge at the fake monster and push it back with his horn. The monster only stumble for a bit before it begins to run towards Chris.

Chris start to run away from the fake monster, yet Martin got on it and bite it with his fake teeth. The creature shriek in pain as it begins to shake around. Martin was holding on for a while before he was send out of its back. Martin fell on to Chris as the two fell to the ground. They look up to see the Chupacabra growling at them.

"Don't forget you guys, you can use your other creature disc from different regions too," Aviva mention, which Chris and Martin smile as they pull out many different creature disc.

The brothers stood up with smirks on their faces as they took out their old creature disc and put in new ones.

Back in the small town Jimmy Z was carrying a bag full of food as Koki was looking around some nets and traps on a shop. There were many traps, but most of them were going to cause harm. They don't want to harm it, do they? They just want this creature to get away from the citizens and creatures in the area. Jimmy look outside to see the sun was beginning to go down; It was going from noon to the evening.

"Hey Koki, can you hurry up?" asked Jimmy Z as he notice some people were beginning to leave their stands.

"Hold on Jimmy, I'm trying to find the right traps so we can capture the Chupacabra.

"But Koki-"

A bell begins to ring. Jimmy Z looks around to see the citizens beginning to close their doors. One by one the citizens were closing their windows and doors. Koki was too focus on the items as she begins to grab a net with little rocks on he ends and a large cage trap.

"Jimmy can you help me carry these to the Createrra," said Koki as Jimmy Z help her grab the cage trap and the heavy net.

They walk out the shop with the door close shut. Koki look around to see the town was empty. It was isolated and quiet and the only thing they could hear was the window blowing. The two place the items and the bag of food in the back as they enter in their vehicles.

"What happened to everyone here?" asked Koki. "Was there something important they need to do?"

"I don't now Koki, but we need to hurry. It's almost getting dark," replied Jimmy Z as Koki started the vehicle. They begin to drive away as Jimmy look back to see the town was getting smaller from the distance.

While the Createrra was driving in the empty road, something was looking at them on the mountains.
