It was just a normal evening that day.
As the sun sank,
It spilled its light onto the horizon,
Painting the path,
Of the moon,
As it rose.
The familiar beep ringed in my ears,
Signalling a message had arrived.
Curious and eager,
With a few clicks,
My eyes scanned through the text.
I typed in a sentence,
Then she did,
A few laughs we shared,
Pondering on our likes and dislikes.
It’s a strong bond now,
Mightier than reality,
Larger than relation.
A true friend is what everyone wants,
One who listens,
Trusts,
Cares.
I am proud,
For I have earned one,
And just hope,
It doesn't slip away.
