'BEEEP'
The bell rings for dismissal and the kids in my class grabs their book bag and head out the room to go to the bus slots. I quickly and quietly pack my supplies and speed walk my way out.
"BIIIG SIIISSS"
I stop and turn to see Isabel running towards me with Farlan and Levi by her side.
"You're just gonna leave me like that? You sure don't act like a big sis." She giggles cutely.
"Oh, well I'm sorry. I wasn't sure that you wanted me to walk with you guys." I slightly smile down at her then I feel someone put their arm around me.
"Don't be silly, (Y/n). We are more than happy to have you with us. We just love company don't we, Levi?"
The said boy looks at me and does his signature scoff.
"Sounds like a 'yes' to me." Levi does his signature 'Tch' whilst Farlan giggles. " So what will you be doing when you get home?" I feel as if he's trying to start a conversation.
"Sleeping" I reply bluntly.
"HA! HILARIOUS! IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL AND YOU ALREADY FEEL THAT TIRED! HA HA!" He slaps my back while throwing his head back like it was the funniest thing on the planet.
"Seriously, Farlan? Why is this so funny to you? She just wants to sleep" Levi says as he holds the door open for the three of us. Farlan finally stops laughing as he wipes the little tear emerges from his eye.
"I'm sorry. I just thought it was just so funny on how blunt her response was. And the response was just to SLEEP. Heh. Please don't get me started."
"Whatever..." Levi sighs. He turns to look at me. "So what slot are you?" I snap out of my little daze and look him. " Oh, umm. 16"
"Tch. Brat."
"Heh, would you look at that. That's the same slot as Levi Aniki" Isabel jumps in the conversation and wraps her arms around me and Levi, pushing us close together. "It's like you're meant to be together! Awweeee sooo cuuute!"
"Oi! Hands off, brat!"
I start blushing 'w-what? Meant to be together?'

"U-Ummm. I mean. I don't think that's true. Maybe it's just that....live in the same neighborhood"
""Cute"" Farlan and Levi both whispers inaudibly.
"AWWWE (Y/N)! YOU'RE SO CUUUUTE!!" Isabel screams at me, cause some students to turn and give us a glance before talking to their friends.
"Shut up Isabel. You're causing a scene"
"Oops. Sorry, Aniki"
Farlan and Isabel see their bus stop and bids a small goodbye while me and Levi hop on our bus. I expected him to sit somewhere else but instead he sits with me. The whole ride was silent between us two but everyone else was chatting it up.
We arrive at our destination and we get off. I start to speed walk, not wanting to become anymore awkward until I felt someone firmly grab my wrist. I jump in shock then turn to see Levi looking in my eyes.
"Let me walk you home" I stare at him, processing on what he just said.
"B-but what about your paren-"
"He'll be fine. Im not looking forward to going home anyway"
"Well. Why not?"
He averts his gaze with me and starts walking ahead. "My uncle. He's my new guardian. And he's a god damn snake"
"Ahh! Levi! Don't say that about your uncle. What did he do anyway?"
"It's bit of a long story, but I'll try to make it short. My mother took care of me most of the time because well, she was my mother. My father I've never seen in my entire life. She told me he left when I was born and soon enough he got married. Sly bastard. 4 years ago she was diagnosed with an illness, she got weak. And I was the one to take care of her until it came to an end and she died on her bed..."
He stops I turn to look at him. Seeing him with his head down, hair covering his face while clutching his shirt tightly. I softly place my hand on his shoulder to ease him and it works.
"My life was empty and I didn't know what to do and that's when my uncle came at the last minute. Telling me he wanted to visit. He realized that my mom wasn't moving and just scoffs saying that it was a real bummer she died. Like what the hell?! Who says that to their own dead sister?! Tch!"
"After that he started taking care of me. He had a cocky attitude, that's probably why I act the way I do now."
"I'm sorry that you had to go through all that at such a young age. But please don't take it to heart and try to get along with your uncle. You can't stay mad at him forever." I say trying to give him some help.
"It's easy to say but hard to do."
It went silent afterwards then I saw my house in sight.
"I see my house down there. I'm going to take my leave now." I stop and give him a small shy wave.
"See ya" He looks at me and slightly blushes.
"Bye" Then we part our ways
