Chapter 6

This up here is something I drew for this chapter. I'm ok with how it turned out. I fucked up her jacket tho.

********(Y/n)'s POV********

We walk around the mall in a big group (since there's 8 of us), narrowly passing the crowd of people around us. Isabel has her arm linked around mine whilst Mikasa is holding my other hand. The boys quietly chatting behind us.

"So. Where are we going first?" I asked turning to Isabel. "Oh! We're going to Dave n' Busters!"

"Ahhh~ Really!" I was excited that I started walking even faster, practically dragging Mikasa & Isabel. Once we made it we all took a glance at the LED lights flashing around us. Kids smiling and running around with their tickets, ready to receive their prize, Couples laughing while playing Mario Kart with a few other people. The sight was heart-warming.

"EEK! House of the Dead 2 is over there! Come on you guys!" Isabel dragged me and Mikasa this time as we made our way to the said arcade game.

"House of the Dead 2? Is that game even suitable for (Y/n)? Like I understand Mikasa will play the game without flinching, but (Y/n)?" Jean raises a brow while watching the three girls slide the PowerCard in card reader. "Oh this'll be fuuun~" Farlan smirks while walking towards them.

Mikasa decides to standby since you can only have 2 players, so Isabel and I play together.

"Isabel, what are we supposed to do." Isabel looks at me and starts explaining.

"So you're supposed to pick that fake gun up there and aim towards the screen. To shoot, press this trigger right here and to reload, tilt your gun up. Basically the objective is to shoot all the zombies and make it out alive." As soon as she said "zombies" I internally panicked.

"Z-zombies?"

"Well yes. Zombies. It isn't called 'House of the Dead 2' for no reason." The game starts and we raise our guns to the screen.

"Don't worry (Y/n). I'll be right here for you." Farlan hugs me from behind.

"Get off her you little shit." Levi pushes Farlan. "Sheesh. I was just joking."

"By the way you were acting it sure didn't look like you were jok-"

"AHHH! ISABEL! HEEEELLLPP!!" I scream, totally ignoring their little argument.

"(Y/N)! YOU HAVE AN EXTRA LIFE! USE IT!" I was completely unaware that I had two more lives so I used one.

"Oh" I came back to life. Eren, Jean and Marco laughed behind me. I blush in embarrassment.

"S-shut up!" I say continuing shooting the zombies. "Awwe~ She's all flustered! Adorable!" Farlan poked my cheek.

"FARLAN!"

"OK OK SORRY LEVI!" He raises his hands in defeat and backs away. As they sit back and spectate us, we finally made it to the first boss. There was a big armored man who was decapitated and a flying creature. A imp I guess. before we started the fight they showed us the boss' weak point, which is the flying imp. We started attacking and it was good so far until I died. I tried to come back but turns out I used all my lives.

"Isabel, you're on your own." She grunts in response. Again, It was good at first then it slightly turned downhill but the boss was almost dead. I start cheering her on.

"Come on, Isabel! You can do it! I believe in you!" She takes my words of encouragement and starts shooting the imp, causing the boss to die.

I hugged her and she hugged back. "You did it Isabel!"

"No. WE did it." She gave me a high five.

"Wow. Congrats, but you do know its just a game, right?" We all look at Eren.

"God. Way to kill the mood, Eren." Marco says. Eren mumbles a "sorry" and we all laugh (except Levi. Mikasa chuckles a bit).

Armin then gently grasped my hand. "Hey (Y/n). Do you wanna play something more calming? Like Connect 4?"

"Connect 4? Armin, you nerd." Jean laughs.

Armin blushes. "I- I am not, horseface." We gasped. "Holy shit Armin. HA! That's hilarious." Eren holds his stomach in laughter.

"You know what Jaeger? This is why no one likes you!"

"Ohhhh Shut up you bastard. At least I get more attention than you!"

"Isn't that a lie! I'm more handsome than you!

"i'M moRe HAnDsoME tHAn- SHUT UP!"

As they continue arguing I look back at Armin.

"Yes. I'll play Connect 4 with you."

Armin smiles and we both make our way to the game while everyone else go play the other games. Eren and Jean still at it. Mikasa and Marco don't even try to split them apart. They'll stop at some point.

Such a great day so far...

facts:

1. 'House of the Dead 2' was actually a game they had in the Dave n' Busters near me. I used to play it every time I went with my dad. Sadly, they took it down (Connect 4 is also there too).

2. Connie, Annie, Sasha, Reiner, Erwin and Hanji couldn't come. Bert could've went but was to shy to be around you.

3. One of my prizes from Dave n' Busters was a horizontal calculator that had a little storage in it (i didn't have enough tickets to get the cool shit, so i got a stupid ass calculator. Wow. Way to go, Yana).

4. I have another story that is actually PLANNED OUT. Don't know when it'll be released tho.
