Beacon Academy.  A place for the best of the best in Vale. Well, that's according to the words professor Glynda said. And these exact words are now reason Lillian Storm was petrified. "Deep breath in, deep breath out," she whispered as she did it.  She was a good fighter. She had to be. After all, Lillian managned to get accepted at Beacon. But the nervosity was still there. The cat faunus closed her locker and adjusted her weapon, long battle staff with two knives in the end/Glock 9 pistols named Cloud, under her white trech coat. "Throw me right into Nevermore's mouth if I am mistaken! Lillian!" a familiar voice shouted. Poor white haired faunus jumped a little, orange eyes wide. "Yang! How many times I told you not to scare me like that!" she half screamed, half laughed. Without hesitation, she hugged the taller girl. Well, almost everybody was taller than her, but still. "I am so glad to see you!" the blonde brawler said and released Lillian from her crushing hug. "Same," she smiled kindly, "what about Ruby? I heard that she got accepted earlier." Yang nooded with proud grin on her face. "Yep! What about your girlfriend? Did she make it here?" Suddenly, the smaller girl turned bright red. "She's not my girlfriend Yang!" she punched her slightly on the shoulder, "And yes, she did get accepted." Blonde teenager laughed: "Oh come on! You are red like Ruby's cape. C'mon, we gotta go!" and with that, she practically dragged Lillian away. What both of them didn't notice, was pair of golden eyes in the shadows. Girl smirked, adjusted her bow and calmly walked away...

Due to a popular belief, cats don't always land on their feet. Lillian learnt it the hard way.  Faunus lost her balance and was forced to do quick roll. "So much for the landing strategy," she mumbled and checked out her weapon. Everything was alright, no damage. "Okay, now let's head north," Lillian thought to herself and started walking. After five minutes of complete silence, she heard a very familliar sound. A sound of a bow string. White haired girl took out Cloud and immidiately ran towards the sound. While she was running, she transformed her staff into double pistols and quickly loaded one with electric dust ammo. It didn't take her long to get to the small battlefield. Already two Beowolves were dissapearing and another two were trying to get to their opponent. Kalo Roxo. Cat faunus shot at the grimm to distract them. It worked and they turned attention to Lillian. That gave Kalo the oppurtinity to slice them down with her double swords while they were paralyzed by the shock ammunition. "Good job," she smiled and sheated Twin's Fate. "It looks like we'll be partners for the next four years," Lillian grinned. Kalo put a strand of wild purple hair behind her ear and walked next to Lillian. "Wouldn't have it any other way," she said and motioned the faunus to follow. Lillian Storm and Kalo Roxo were inseperable for the past two years. And the smaller girl still couldn't believe that she, a faunus with cat ears, was so lucky to have a friend like her. Kalo was calm, mature and clever. She always wore something classy, most often a dark purple shor-sleeved shirt with black trousers and classy black men shoes. Graphite eyes were always watching over her friends and her dark skin was decorated with few little scars from fights. "Lost in thoughts again, Lil?" Her friend's voice threw her out of thoughts and she just nodded and smiled. For five minutes they walked in comfortable silence, until a high pitched scream destroyed the atmosphere. "Was that a girl?" sword fighter asked. Lillian shook her head: "No, that's some boy. My guess is that Jaune guy Ruby intorduced me to." "Okay, first of: How can you recognize that it was him and second: You met Ruby?" Faunus nodded and pointed at her ears. "That's the answer to the first question and as for the second: Yeah, I talked with her and Yang before they told us to get in the line. She was asking about you," Lillian answered and smiled. Kalo sighed and let her head hang low. "I didn't have time to see her. I will definetly do it after this." "Be prepared to be tackeled to the floor like I was." At that, Kalo laughed. "We should hurry up. After this, we'll all go to the nice tea house near the centre. My treat."

After a while, both girls found the place they were looking for. "That's it!" Lillian exclaimed and ran towards the stone circle with Kalo following behind her. Only two chess pieces were left. The black queen. Cat faunus grabbed one and hid it in her coat. "Okay, what now?" she asked, but before her friend could answer, two loud shots sounded in the distance. "Isn't that Crescent Rose and Ember Celica?" "Yes. But I wouldn't worry about them. They are together, so nothing will stop them." "Yeah, you are right," Lillian agreed and looked at Kalo. "What we should worry about is, that we still don't have the second half of our team." Her concern was heard and immidiately answered. Two boys were shouting at each other and running from a forrest followed by a huge pack of Beowolves. "I've told you that it was a stupid idea but no! You just had to poke that alpha in the eye!" the smaller of the two shouted. He wore light brown leather jacket with dark green T-shirt underneath. His light blue jean were tattered, propably from the fighting. His brown eyes were wide with fear and anger. Neon green hair were long to his ears. But what caught attention of both girls, was his faunus trait. Neon green and brown eagle wings. "Those are extremly rare," Lillian whispered right before she started to cover them with her pistols and Kalo with her bow. The secon boy grinned at them and sped up. He was really tall and his bright red fox ears made him even taller. His hair was similiar colour. It was cut on the left side and the right side was grown out. He was wearing plain red tank top and torn brown shorts. He was also barefoot. "Go, go!" Kalo shouted as they ran past them and followed them up to the cliffs. "We can't lead them to the other teams. They have already too much on their plate!" Lillian shouted and stopped. Kalo and the boys nodded and stopped too. "Wouj," the fox quickly intorduced himself and took out his weapon. A metal yoyo. "Seriously?" the green haired boy asked, taking out his own weapons. Double edged curved daggers. "Just wait and see, Madori," Wouj laughed and pressed a little button. Sharp daggers appeared on the sides and edges. "Fair enough..." "Guys, we can talk later," Kalo interrupted them, "now we have a problem." Boys nodded and Madori flew up into the air. "By the way, I'm Lillian and she is Kalo," cat smiled. "Okay girls, let's do it!" she laughed and wanted to run at them, but one gaze from the tall girl stopped him. "We have to work together. Wouj, stay close to me and Lillian, you cover us from afar," purple haired girl looked up at her new team mate, "Madori, air support would be nice!" "You got it boss!" he shouted.

Kalo was the first to run towards the pack with Wouj following close behind her. Her swords burried deep into Beowolf's chest. Wouj was spinning around his yoyo and moved, like if the fight was a dance show. His fighting style was really simmiliar to Kalo's. But unlike him, the sword fighter used also few basic kicks and more dodging. The other half of the team was doing quite well themselves. Madori was performing quick air strikes on the grimm. Down, quick slash, up and repeat. Lillian was shooting with precision, like her father taught her. But the cat faunus was too focused on aiming, that she didn't notice a stray Beowolf behind her. Before it could strike her, Madori caught her hands and went up with her.  She wanted to say something, but Madori cut her off: "Y'know, you have to get over that fear of heights." "How do you know?" She could practically feel his smirk. "A good guess. I am gonna drop you on the one of the remaining monsters. Ready?" Lillian let her right hand grab Cloud, while her left was still in Madori's grip. "Got it!" And second after she said that, he let her fall. Lillian landed on a head of a Beowolf that was trying to threathen Kalo. The black skinned girl sent her one of her rare grins and continued fighting. Together, like a well oiled machine, newly formed team of students fought. And thanks to their ability to stay calm duiring the fight, they won without any injuries. "Great team work guys!" Wouj exclaimed as he sheated his weapon. Kalo nodded, Lillian smiled and Madori shook his head with a tired laugh escaping his lips. "Look!" the sword fighter said and pointed towards the cliffs. The enormous scorpion, Deathstalker, was dissapearing and the eagle, Nevermore, was pinned by his tale. Suddenly, white glyphs with the Schnee family symbol on them appeared on the rocky wall behind it. A red flash, Ruby Rose, grabbed the grimm under it's head with her weapon and dragged it upwards. With one simple motion, and a loud battlecry, the monster's neck was cut off. The 16 years old girl was standing on the edge of the cliff, looking at her friends. "Good job Ruby," Kalo whispered under her breath, just loud enough for Lillian to hear.

"Kalo Roxo, Lillian Storm, Wouj Apeninon and Madori Leaf. Four of you gathered a black queen piece. From this day on, you will form team KLWM (Calm). I wish you good luck with future studies and Grimm hunting," proffessor Ozpin said as the crow of people cheered. The redheaded fox pulled his whole team into a big hug before they walked off the stage. "KALO!" a high pitched voice screamed and before anyone could od anything, their team leader was already on the floor with Ruby hugging her. "Hello Ruby," she breathed out and returned the hug. "I am so happy that you made it! And we are both team leaders!" she shouted as she continued to crush her poor friend. "Ruby, I think she is turning from purple to blue," Yang laughed. "Oh, sorry!" she said and helped her up. "This is my team. Guys, meet Blake and Weiss," the young girl pointed at her new friends. "Nice to meet you," Lillian smiled, "My name's Lillian and the rest are Kalo, Wouj and Madori." Both of the boys bowed, "At your service ladies." "Dorks," Kalo chuckeled. "We'll meet later Rubes. We have some team-bonding to do." The leader of team RWBY smiled and nodde. "See ya!" and they parted ways. "That Weiss girl wasn't too happy to meet us," Wouj wondered. Madori shrugged his shoulders: "Well, she is Schnee. But Blake suprised me. She seemed a little too surprised to see us." "Hey, no gossiping!" white haired girl laughed. "Sooo, is the tea shop still open?" the cat faunus asked her best friend. "Yes it is."
