A ride to Vale was fairly peaceful. Nothing interesting happened. But the second they arrived in the city, Madori spoke: "We have to get you some clothes dude!" Wouj frowend, "Why? These are nice." The hawk shook his head. "Nice for fighting, not nice for going out with your team. "You can't be serious..." he mumbled. Kalo and Lillian looked at each other. The cat faunus giggled, ran up to the fox and with the help of Madori, started to drag poor boy away. Their leader chuckeled and followed them. "Nooo! Please, let me go," red haired boy whined and tried to get away. But to his dismay, Madori and Lillian were much stronger than they looked. Kalo gave him a symphatetic look. After few minutes of friendly arguing and bantering, they finally found some clothes shop. "Let's go!" Lil shouted and entered in. The store was small, but full up to the roof with different types of T-shirts, shirts, trousers, jeans etc. Kalo looked around and spotted an empty fitting room. There team KLWM seperated. Madori and Lillian went on a shopping spree, meanwhile Wouj and Kalo stood by the room. Boy's fox ears were twitching. He was visibly nervous. "What is it?" his new friend asked, with a small portion of concern escaping from her words. "Nothing..." he mumbled while looking at her. "Something is going on in that head of yours. Your ears are twiching," purple haired girl pointed out. Wouj let out a long sigh. "It's just that... I've never ever had enough money to buy this type of clothes." "Tough childhood?" The fox laughed a little and nodded. "Yeah. I grew up on the streets of Vacuo after some... family stuff happened," he paused for a little bit, "only me and my brother stayed together. Few other children joined us and we built up a small getho in one street. I left when I was fifteen to explore Remmenant." The sword fighter smiled at him. "That's an interesting life story. You were lucky to have your brother with you." Wouj smiled, "Yes, yes I was," he looked up and his shoulders slumped, "oh no. They are back." Just as he said that, two other members returned with hands full off clothes. "C'mon, get in there and try them!" Madori ordered him and practically pushed him inside. "Okay! Okay! I am going!" Kalo shook her head and started to walk around the store. There were some nice pieces, but the clothing she wore had some... emotional value. "I miss you," she whispered as she went past children section. "Why are they here?" she heard a high pitched male voice. It came from her right side by the jacket section of the store. "Maybe to steal something. Or steal the money from the cashier! I dunno," whispered another male. This one's voice was much more deeper. Kalo's curiosity got the best of her and she turned around to see what's going on. There were two men standing few meters away from her. They were both really skinny, one with bleach blonde hair and the other with greasy brown. Both of them wore the same brown dirty trousers and black leather jackets. Men were looking in the same direction. The fitting room where her team was standing and chatting. "Hey, that looks good on you!" Lillian laughed as Wouj turned around to see himself from all angles. "She is right! You look great!" Madori agreed. "I might look good, but I can barely move. These jeans have to go!" the tall boy complained and went inside again. "This isn't good" Kalo thought. "Should we go for others?" The brown haired one frowned. "Nah. There would be more trouble than good. Wait for them outside." And with that, they walked off. Purple haired girl returned to her team. Lillian was sitting on a small chair and Madori was leaning on a wall. Wouj was still inside. New leader looked at her best friend with worry in her eyes. The smaller girl saw it and nodded, acknowledging her friend's suspision. "We should hurry up Wouj!" Kalo raised her voice. "You don't have to tell me!" he answered right away. Boy came out in his new outfit. He was wearing bleached out red T-shirt with dark red denim jacket on top of it. The scarft that used to be tied on his arm was now covering his neck. Instead of normal jeans, he was now wearing cargo shorts in the same shade of dark pink as his eyes. The fox was even wearing black sandals. Luckily, without sock. "Great," Kalo smiled, "now let's go. There are trouble waiting outside. Some faunus haters." Right after she said that, the three faunuses sighed. Madori moved with his wings, Lillian's and Wouj's ears were now pointed back. Together they went to the counter and explained the situation to the cashier. She smile, scanned Wouj's clothing even though he was wearing it at he moment and let them out through the back exit. "Thank you so much," Lillian said and caught up with her team. "Well, that is the firs successfull mision for our team!" The fox joked. And his whole team laughed.
The teahouse was actually not too far away from the clothes shop. "Here we are!" Lillian smiled and led them inside. Interior had domestic and cosy feeling. The chairs were made out of dark wood, the same for the round tables. In the corners of the teahouse people could sit in comfy arm chairs or couches and sellect some book from the overflowing bookshelves. Team KL sat on the couch next to each other, while WM took the arm chairs. "This is nice," Madori grinned as he looked around, "it reminds me of home." Wouj raised an eyebrow. "Where are you from?" Before the smaller guy could answer, the fox stopped him with raised hand: "Nope! Wait!" he frowned, "I think that you're from Mistral! Your accent sound really familiar." Green haired boy nodded with huge smile on his face. "You are right. Born and raised there." "Then why did you leave?" Lillian asked him while deciding what tea to order. The hawk shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. Maybe because of the bullies? Or family past? I'm not sure," he stopped for a while, "all I know is that I am happy to be here. And I am glad that I have you for a team. The next four years will be amazing," he grinned. "Aww! That got emotional quite quickly," Wouj chuckled and lightly punched Madori's shoulder. "Ey! I am not afraid to show my feelings!" he punched him back. Kalo laughed at that. They were acting like two children arguing about who had better toy car. Suddenly the waitress came: "Hello, welcome Light Tulip teahouse. What can I get you?" After an awkward minute, duiring which nobody knew what to order except Lillian, the girl walked away. "You've never been to a teahouse before?" Kalo asked Wouj, who had the biggest problem choosing. "Never really had time to visit one. And you?" The purple haired fighter nodded. "I've been here few times duiring my life. My mother loved it here," she took her order from the waitress and put it on the small table, "and my sister always read at least one book here. But my dad was more of a coffee person," she smiled at that and took a sip of her Dragon mountain green tea. "Will we meet them in future?" Madori turned his attention away from the book he chose. Lillian's eyes widened. The boys didn't understand why. "I am sure you will," their leader smiled faintly.
The sun started to set when team KLWM left the teahouse. "Come back soon!" the waitress waved at them from the counter. "We have 30 minutes to get back," Lillian stated and put away her scroll. "Stop there!" a voice called out to them. "Oh, no..." Kalo muttered. She recognized that voice. It were the two men and their other three buddies. "What are you faunus vermin doing here? Shouldn't you be on Menagerie?" They formed a circle around them. "We are just students at Beacon. Leave us be," the cat faunus spoke calmly. "Shut up you animal!" one guy shouted and walked closer. Kalo stepped up in front of Lillian to block the attacker. "Back off," she hissed. "Oh, we got a faunus lover here boys!" they laughed. The leader looked at her team. Wouj was standing there with arms crossed across his chest and Madori looked like his temper will blow up in any moment. "Listen," purple haired girl began slowly, as if the men couldn't understand her, "we don't want any prolems. We are just first year students at an academy for future HUNTERS. Back off." But even though the students tried really hard, it was in vain. "Hahaha! You hear that boys!" the man in front of Kalo hollered. The girl looked and Madori. "Do it," she said to him. After the permission, Madori punched the guy near him hard on the side of his head, near the ear. A loud crack tore through the loud laughter and one of the attackers was no lying on the floor, with broken jaw. The tall girl used the shock of others for her advantage and broke leader's nose with one quick punch. "Go, go!" she shouted, grabbed Lillian by her hand and started to run away. Wouj and Madori followed them. The team ran until they were seated in and airship headed towards Beacon. "Y'know I could've taken him out by myself, right?" white haired girl asked her friend. "I know, I just hate bullies." Seconds passed and the four friends started laughing so much, that their stomachs hurt.
Another episode out! It starts out slowly, like the original series did. But don't worry, there will be more fights in future. Thanks again for reading :)
