Two

Sam's POV

Colby: "Hey"

Colby: "Hello"

Colby: "Sam"

Colby: "I'm boredddd!"

Sam: "You woke me up"

Colby: "Good, it's almost noon"

Sam: "Ugh I know"

Colby: "So, what are you doing?"

Sam: "Laying in bed, what about you?"

Colby: "Just thinking about you 😗"

Sam: "Why? I'm not very interesting."

Colby: "Yes you are!"

Colby: "I want to know more about you"

Sam: "I want to know more about you too"

Colby: "We should hang out sometime"

Sam: "Suspicious"

Colby: "I'm not trying to lure you to my house... yet. 😂"

Sam: "Starbucks?"

Colby: "Sure which one?"

Sam: "(Street its on)"

Colby: "Cool, that's just a couple minutes from my house."

Sam: "Really? Me too, What street do you live on?"

Colby: "(street name)"

Sam: "I LIVE ON THE SAME STREET"

Colby: "WHAT REALLY???"

Sam: "Yes, I live in the apartment building."

Colby: "ME TOO"

Colby: "Fifth floor"

Sam: "Second floor"

Colby: "How have we never seen each other???"

Sam: "Idk maybe we have but just forgot?"

Colby: "I'm going to get going to Starbucks, see you there"

Sam: "Okay"

I quickly got up, dressed and left my apartment. I was going to drive but decided to walk, it was one of the only cool days in California and it was only a five minute walk. When I entered the Starbucks I immediately ordered and waited for my drink. While waiting near the counter for my drink someone came up behind me and rested their hand on my shoulder. Before thinking about it I panicked before realizing it was Colby. He pulled me into a tight embrace, we separated when the barista called my name. I grabbed my drink, Colby and I found a table in the shade outside. We talked for hours, about everything from our aspirations to how we ended up in L.A. I found out that he was from Arkansas, and came to California as an aspiring actor. When we were going to leave I began to walk back but he insisted he drive me, I was fine with walking but gladly accepted because it meant I could spend more time with Colby. When we got back to the building he invited me to his apartment, I was a little weary at first but felt that I knew enough of him to go to his place. He apartment was set up almost exactly the same as mine, one bedroom, one bathroom. "How long have you lived here?" I asked him "About two years" he quickly responded "What about you?" he asked me while walking over to the couch "Uhh just a couple months" I said, sitting down next to him. "Want to watch a movie?" Colby asked me, I mindlessly responded, I was lost in his eyes. They were the bluest eyes I've every seen. Such a pure blue, a gradient getting darker as the color reached his cornea. He put on a movie, I didn't pay attention for the first ten minutes until I heard a scream come from the screen. I glanced over to see a woman running, I wasn't sure what she was running from. I continued to watch then, a paranormal figure popped up out of nowhere with a very loud noise, causing me to jump and grab Colby's arm. I realized what I had done and slightly moved away, "You don't have to be so far away" Colby said, gesturing for me to move closer. I came slightly closer, I was moving very slowly until Colby grabbed me, pulling me into his side. I was uncomfortably tense, until I realized he wanted this as much as I did, I relaxed into him as he wrapped his arms around my waist. The movie only got more horrifying from then on, I jumped a couple of times but quickly calmed down, having Colby so close. I think this was his plan, make me scared so he could hold me. I'm really not complaining, though. Before I knew it I was in Colby's arms, he must've noticed me waking up because he said "Oh, you fell asleep, I was just going to let you sleep here unless you don't want too." "I'll stay here" I said, leaning into him as ha carried me to his bed. He handed me some sweatpants and a shirt to sleep in. I went to the bathroom to change, came back to the bedroom and Colby was gone. I walked into the living room to see him laying down on the couch. "Why are you out here?" I asked him, I had assumed he would sleep with me "I didn't know if you wanted to share a bed or not" he said "Well, I do" I said while walking to his room and crawling under the covers. Soon after Colby walked in and crawled in with me, I felt his arms wrap around me as I drifted off to sleep.
