Florence stood nervously as the line of girls in pink skirts and lightly frilled stockings waltzed onto the podium, their perfect bodies and slim waists arousing every man in the audience.
The bright lights and eager faces intimidated her causing her to step back a little. Florence bit her lip in anticipation; was she going to meet someone special today? Or would it be just like every other auction?
She flattens out her skirt and tightens her pigtails before stepping on stage, holding her stuffy close. She shuffled up to her spot, immediately feeling underpowered next to all the stunning girls beside her. She pouts and hugs her stuffy in disappointment as she expects the same result as every other times she's been up at stage: rejection.
She had been all over the place at different auctions but not once had she been bought.
