I just finished Magnus Chase Book 3 and OHMYGOD
IT WAS SO GOOD and I'm so sad that it was the final book in the series i wANT MORE!
Spoilers below, btw
ALEX. AND. MAGNUS.
I SHIP IT SO BAD. I'm not even sure if I was that excited when Percabeth happened. But FierroChase/Malex/whatever-their-ship-name-is I just...YES. It wasn't Percabeth, they never officially got together in the end, bUT COME ON. THEY ARE FREAKIN' ADORABLE.
ALSO, HIS/HER NAME IS ALEX. Which can be a boy name and a girl name, which is sinking in just now. I LOVE IT.
Rick Riordan, maybe you dragged out this whole universe longer than necessary but I APPROVE 100% and you did it way better than Once Upon a Time has so far just saying–
So, yeah. I'd give Ship of the Dead a 10/10. It got me squealing before Magnus even said his whole paragraph of compliments to Alex. And they kissed twice. AND Magnus opened the Chase Space. AND AND we saw the name of Percy Jackson's little sister. AAAAAAAND I LOVE HEARTH AND BLITZ, SAM AND AMIR'S RELATIONSHIP, MALLORY, TJ, HALFBORN, AND JUST...GAHHH YES
also, they saved the world. which is always a plus.
For now I'll just have to look forward to the next Trials of Apollo book in May. I kinda hope Apollo doesn't get a love interest because the chemistry–the unromantic chemistry–between he and Meg is enough. ALSO, ANNABETH, YOU CANT BE SO VAGUE ABOUT WHATEVER IS WRONG. I WAS SCARED PERCABETH BROKE UP (which they didn't thank goodness) BUT NOW I WANNA KNOW WHATS WRONG!!!
WAIT.
I just realized (spoiler for trials of apollo 2) that PERCY AND ANNABETH ARE AT CAMP JUPITER, RIGHT? And in Trials of Apollo 2, they realized there's gonna be an attack on Camp Jupiter.
I swear if someone dies I'm gonna kill The Triumvirate myself
well thats all the rambling i can think of for now
I have such weird ends to this chapters I swear but anyway
