Jake's POV
I was staring at the letter for God knows long that I didn't hear Gabriel calling, she got angry and grab the letter from me.
"Hey! Give me it back!" I said trying to get it back but I felt too lazy to do so.
"Dear Jake'" Gabriel starts to read "I'm back in California and want to meet you at Danny's burger shop tomorrow at 6 pm. I hope to see you there. From Mark" she finished.
"What?" I asked "Mark is back?" I asked with a huge smile. He became my friend and head my company to reach the top.
"... Who is Mark?" Gabriel asked raising an eyebrow.
"Mark? Mark's is my best friend from high school " I was about to tell her how we met but my phone started to ring. Without checking who the caller was I answered the phone
"What's up my friend?" The caller said, wait! This voice sounds familiar.
"Who is this?" I asked expecting to get an answer.
"Wow you've already forgotten my voice huh." The male caller sighed.
"Who is this?" I repeated myself.
"Mark!"
