Narrator : The Lucan family moves into a house in Louisiana. Unaware of what waits inside.
Mark: My wife and I wanted a fresh start with our kids, we needed to start over. My wife loved the house, so I assumed the kids would too.
Narrator : Terri Lucan, daughter of Mark and Sadie Lucan, is not impressed with the new house. She tries to get away.
Terri: I took one look at the house and felt like someone was watching me. It didn't feel right. I'm only 15, but I didn't feel like going inside.
Narrator: The other kids, seem fine with the new house. Little do they know, they will get the whole new side of living in the house.

Narrator: Several weeks later the family has a dinner, but Terri refuses to stay.
Terri: I have been experiencing some things in the house. My bed shakes, my clock skips time, my shoes gets misplaced, I lose my phone even though I know exactly where I put it. I told my dad and he said I'm dreaming, so I told him I refuse to attend the dinner.
Narrator: Terri and Colin go outside, to play soccer so Terri is prepared for her game in a week. Colin then sees Terri in fear, staring, and going white.
Colin: My sister and I were playing soccer and I looked up at her and she was so scared. She kept pointing behind me and saying "he's going to take your soul..." I didn't think much of it, considering she has been depressed since we moved.
Narrator: Around 3 weeks later, the family altogether witnesses a shadow.
Sadie: My husband thought it'd be good for the family to sit down and watch a movie, but we all kept hearing noises. My husband kept checking it out and the doors are locked, nothing has been touched. So we all ignored it until we all saw a dark shadow cross in front of the tv. My kids screamed and my husband was even going pale.
Mark: My wife told me that I should not encourage the ghost, but I saw it with my own eyes. It crossed and scared my 3 kids. Terri kept telling us, "I told you! But you never listen to me!" that's when we decided it was time to call it done.
Narrator: The family calls a paranormal group, but they are too busy and must wait 4 weeks. The family does what they can until then. Later that night....
Mark: The family was asleep in bed, and I had to stay up all night in order to get my project done. I kept seeing shadows cross, hearing footsteps, hearing voices...it got more intense as the time went by. It was at around 2:30, I went to get coffee, so I left all my stuff back in my office. Once I got back, I saw that everything was on the floor. I thought maybe William was up, he's 8, he wouldn't know what to do if he couldn't sleep. But my son wouldn't put the papers in order.
Narrator: Mark refuses to believe his son is playing a game with him. So he picks up the papers and checks on William.
Mark: I went upstairs to see if William is sleepwalking. But once I opened the door, I saw he was sleeping in bed. So I went back downstairs and my papers were back on the floor. I then knew something serious was going to happen. And I needed answers before anything. How can you protect your family from something you don't understand?
Narrator: The family chooses to make a phone call to get a psychic and terminal the ghost.
Mark: I was willing to spend hundreds of dollars to get rid of the ghost. My family is not safe and neither am I. My wife loves this home, it is perfect for us, we just need to claim it.
Narrator: A few days later, the psychic shows up with her husband.
Tabitha: Once I got closer to the house, I could feel the negative energy. I knew that it was going to be a difficult night.
Narrator: Tabitha goes through the house, and then talks to the couple.
Tabitha: "You have a poltergeist, and he's not happy. He died in your daughter's bedroom, your son's are fine, but it's been haunting your daughter because he knows how weak she is. She is not possessed, she just is a target so he can get his house back. I am going to ask for her to help us claim this home, while your sons stay outside with my husband."
Narrator: Tabitha then starts a cleansing with prayer. And soon, the house begins to quiet down.
Mark: The house was brighter inside and I felt relieved because even my daughter was better. Tabitha was saying that the entity was angry with us because he thought we were erasing his old life to have our own. It's understandable but when he put my family in danger, I won't tolerate it.
Narrator: 6 weeks later, the family decided to leave and move to another home.
Sadie: I thought about staying, but I had a sign that said if I did, I would feel like it didn't leave. That and we needed to live closer to the schools. I loved that home, but it's not mine. I respect the dead now, I thought the dead was a bad sign all my life but Tabitha kept saying that ghosts attack when they feel like you are going to tear they're lives. It happens.
Narrator: The Lucan family will never forget about the house and what happened, especially Terri. As they move on, so can the evil in the house of Bailen Parker. RIP.
