Chapter 3

When I got up I looked at the clock and it said 8:00. I looked over and found that I was under the covers with my hands on Mason's chest, if he put me under the covers, what else did he do, I wondered but then remembered that he was a player but he was definitely as bad as that. His hands were on the small of my back, pulling me closer to him. He was so handsome that I couldn't help but kiss him, when I did he stirred and started to kiss me back. When we stopped he said, "Hey beautiful," I loved his morning voice and the way he writhed under the covers, "I'm up early but I can't help but smile because I woke up kissing you. So what do you want to do?"

                "I don't know about you but I'm taking a shower," I replied.

"Me too but I'll make breakfast. Do you want doughnuts or pancakes? Never mind, I already know, doughnuts, right?" he said.

I sighed contentedly and pulled him towards me, "I love how well you know me. Do you mind making coffee? Uncle Levi'll wake up faster if you make it now, something about the smell makes him wake up so that he can fill his stomach with coffee." I replied.

"Sure, I know that it'll be best to get you out to the beach as soon as we can, you get all jittery when you don't have your morning swim. I'm gonna go downstairs now." he said.

"Good idea, I'll be in the shower if you need me, please don't need me, I'm begging you."I replied.

"Don't worry, I won't; unless I burn the house down, then I'm grabbing you and running out, but maybe not." he said bluntly. I threw a pillow at him and he chuckled.

"But knowing you you will start the house on fire and you will grab me out of the shower." I replied laughing.

"Ohhh, I'm so hurt," he said mockingly as he pulled me into a hug. I knew he wanted a kiss but refused to give him one, if I gave him too many he would get spoiled.

I pulled away, "Out, I'm taking a shower! Go make me doughnuts and coffee!" I said pushing him into the hallway. We both fell down laughing, me on top of him, next thing I knew he was kissing me, more passionately than I had ever seen him do to any other girls, and believe me he has kissed many, many, many girls. I pulled away and skipped to the bathroom with a change of clothes. I shimmied out of my swimsuit and turned the cold water on (another part of being the ocean's child, I HATE hot water). I was out of the shower in 5 minutes flat. The clothes I put on were a gray crop top that said "London" (I don't have to worry about tank tops, I have a black swimsuit) and white short shorts. This outfit showed my curves nicely, but despite what Mason said I hadn't gotten as curvy as some girls in my grade *cough, Jayla Harris, cough*. I tucked my iPhone into my pocket and practically rand downstairs silently to find and scare Mason. When I got downstairs there was bacon in the oven, 2 trays of doughnuts ready to go in the oven, and coffee brewing, but no Mason.

I heard a door shut quietly and felt Mason's warm hands over my eyes, "Guess who!?!" he said in a British accent to try to fool me, though it was a terrible accent so I wasn't fooled for a second.

"Mason where have you been?" I asked a note of panic in my voice.

"Oh, I don't know. But I got you this," he held out a beautiful seawater pearl framed by a piece of mother-o'-pearl. "I went to my house to grab a swimsuit, but I went by the jewelry store and I knew I had to get it for you. Happy one day anniversary!"
