Dating a Winchester is hard. Having to be alone a lot because Dean doesn't want to take you on the hunts just so you are safe. You two are always on the phone, try to facetime as many times as you can through the day. Sometimes you don't even get to hear his voice and that worries you the most. Sometimes you just get a 'Im okay, baby. I'll call you tomorrow. I love you' text. Sometimes you get nothing at all. Dating Dean is is hard and you just sometimes want to give up on your relationship but you don't have the heart to do it. Not to Dean, who has lost many loved ones and has gone through a lot. He gets to come home maybe ones every three months, if you're luckier every month. Sometimes you have to do things on your own. For example, you are scared or spiders and roaches and you have to kill them on your own because your boyfriend is not there to do it, you can't do what every couple does. You have to do everything on your own.
When ever something like that happens and Dean calls you and asks about your day you would tell him everything.
"So today I killed a roach and a huge spider. I was about to burn the house down Dean," y/n giggles but deep down you were not joking. If the house burned down Dean would have no choice but to take you with him and you didn't care if you lost your house.
"Awe baby I wish I was there to kill them for you. I know it's hard to be alone and have monsters crawling around the house and not having someone to kill them." You knew he was pouting because his voice changed and you were right when you heard Sam. "Dude why are you pouting and talking like?"
All you would just hear is, "shut up Sammy." That always made your day.
When he called the next day he sounded hurt. You got worried immediately and waited for the worst. "Y/n?"
"I'm here, Dean. Are you okay?" Your voice sounded worried and scared. To Dean, your voice was his grace, it was perfect so he didn't hear the worry but he did hear sadness to it. "Y/n I can't." Dean sniffled and it just broke your heart hearing him cry and not be able to no anything.
"What do you mean you can't, baby?" Dean loves it when you called him baby, it calmed him down. "I can't be apart from you. I can't do this. I just want to be with you and have a family but I can't have you in this life, in my life." You knew where this was going. You all of a sudden couldn't breath, you felt a sharp pain in your heart. "No Dean you can't do this. You won't do this. I won't let you throw our love away."
She knew it was his only love he have ever felt, real love and it pained Dean to have to do this. Sam was just watching him from afar and didn't want to interfere. He even knew how strong your love was, even when you and dean called or facetimed each other. Your love was pure for sure.
"Y/n I don't want to but today it made realize how I will never be able to have a normal life with you. People need me and Sammy and-"
"And I need you Dean. You are the one who made me believe in love. You are the one that showed me there was faith. I am lost without you Dean."
"But baby the road ain't no place to start a family, you know that." Y/n knew it but she just wanted to be close to Dean. She wanted to be with him all the time and feel safe. "Dean, please, can we just try to see how we do on the road? How our life can on the road and maybe later on try to have a family, but not on the road." Dean sniffled and cleared his throat.
"Yeah I'm sure that can be arranged I guess. Sammy will just have to get another room when we stop in the hotels," Y/n giggled and Dean let out a laugh. "Maybe You, Sam and me can be a family on the road, Sam is like a brother to me and well you-"
"I better not be like a brother to you y/n," she let out a laughed. "No, you are my baby. You are my everything."
"I'm forever yours baby. I love you and I hope to see you this week to bring you with me on the road." Y/n let out a shriek and jumped around the house, even thought Dean couldn't see he knew she had a huge smile and he couldn't help but have a smile too. b
