*one month later*

A month had passed and I had grown even closer to the boys, I'd spend every lunch with them laughing about stupid things or teasing each other.

Nothing has happened between Louis and I since the beach. We had a little argument about how I set him up for a fall and we agreed that everything had happened a bit too soon, luckily it didn't have a big impact on our friendship.

Harry and I shared a few kisses from time to time. Sure, they meant something but I don't think I'd go further than kissing him.

Mollie and I have also become closer and we walk to school every morning and phone each other about the latest gossip we've heard or who's dating who in the celebrity world. It's nice to have someone you can speak to about anything.

Today was Monday, the start of another week.

"Kat!" I heard a voice shout in the distance. I turned around to see who it was, Mollie.

"Hey, I slept in this morning that's why I never came to get you." She said catching her breath.

"That's fine, I had to leave early to drop off a letter at the post office. How are you? How was your weekend with Marcus?" I asked, Mollie met this boy Marcus about two weeks ago at a party and ever since they've got on so well.

"Aw it was great, we even shared our first kiss." She said going slightly red..

"Oh my god! I knew you two had something!" I squealed.

Mollie pulled a funny face and we carried on walking and talking until we reached the school.

"Do you want to walk home together?" I asked as we got our notes out of our lockers.

"Yeah I'll see you at the gate." Mollie said hugging me then walking off to her first class.

After registration I made my way to Modern Studies. None of the boys appeared this morning.

"Kat!" Harry caught up with me in the hallway.

"You're late." I stated the obvious.

"I know, Zayn and Liam got into a fight, we still don't know what it was about but it was quite nasty."

"Are they okay?" I asked worried.

"Liam is in school with a few bruises, Zayn walked off with blood over his face because Liam burst his lip. We'll sort it out at break."

"Yeah." I said picturing the state the boys would be in, covered in blood and bruises.

"I missed you this weekend." Harry whispered teasingly as we unpacked our notebooks.

"I can't say I felt the same. I enjoyed having time to myself." I smiled pulling on one of his curls.

The lesson was going by so slowly, I could hardly pay attention i was too busy staring out the window and that's when a bright glare caught my attention

"FIRE! FIRE O-OVER THERE" I shouted standing up out of my seat.

The whole class stood up and someone hit the fire alarm but there was no sound I ran out into the corridors smashing every fire alarm and still no alarm went off.

Everyone soon realised that nothing was working so we ran down the hallways evacuating everyone. screams echoed as they noticed it wasn't just a drill.

Then I realised. The fire was in the science corridor

"Harry!" I shouted budging by people in a mad panic. "Liam, Louis and Mollie they're in that corridor." I shouted over screams. I ran up the stairs to the floor where the fire was. Smoke choked me and I stood in shock as I noticed there was no way I could make it. The fire was spreading rapidly and I had to get out.
