"Oh-kay,this is awkward." Hermione and I were facing a solid wall. She had her eyes closed while muttering something under her breath.

I snatched my hand off of hers. "Why are we standing here like idiots worshiping a wall?"

Hermione turned to look at me, "You have to think about the place you want to see in there. Stiles, you have to focus if you want this to work," I felt ashamed about her concern.

"Right. Er, okay." and then I closed my eyes and held her hand again. The pictures of Beacon Hills High School immediately popped in my mind... The lockers, the empty classrooms, the sheriff's station.. Then there's my dad, looking extremely worried with his thumb massaging his temple.

I shook of those thoughts and focus on something else. Now I can see my room. Oh yes, my very own room.

The crime board and red strings connected on each photos and article. Every last piece of dirty clothes and underwear scattered at every parts of my room. My bed with loads of books laying above.

My lacrosse stick, my pillows... My laptop. The socket. The electricity. I imagine live wires connected underneath the walls and then so much power.

"Whoa, a typical door." I heard Hermione said. I opened my eyes to see my own room's door appeared in front of us.

I felt overwhelmed and immediately grabs the knob. I pushed it open and then again my amazement got on its peak.

"What the..." I stepped inside to see my room. It was really my room!

"Stiles take it easy." Hermione chuckled but I ignored her.

I stepped out and look at the exterior. There was nothing there but the door and the adjusted massive wall. I entered inside again and there's my average sized room.

"It's smaller on the inside," But screw that. This is my room. My closet, my crime board, my lacrosse gear, my shoes, my laptop. Everything exactly the same.

"How is this possible?" I sat over my bed as Hermione closes the door. I analyzed every corners and every last thing resembles to my original room.

Hermione settled beside me, she gets my hand and coaxed me to look at her. "Imagination is a necessity in the wizarding world Stiles. And that will be your greatest weapon."

I caress her hand and smiled in response. "Yep, and this." I poked my temple before getting to my feet.

I seized my laptop and opened it. Excitement flooding my veins when it comes to life, showing my desktop wallpaper which is... Lydia.

My gaze went to Hermione, I saw her biting her lower lip. She looked at me, furrowing her eyebrows. "Your girlfriend?" she asked.

"Er.. No. I wish she is," I realized how much I missed those strawberry blond locks, green eyes and 5'3 tall cutie cinnamon roll.

"Stiles? I think you should do whatever you have to since it's almost time for my first class and so is yours." Hermione said, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Yes right," I get my cellphone inside my pocket and connected it on my charger. "Yes!" I literally jumped when it too comes to life.

"This is amazing! Can I just move here? Or what if I think about Scott's house? Would I'll be able to see him there huh Hermione?" I turned around to find her looking at my crime board. "Hermione?"

But she's just continuously staring at a particular article attached there which was connected to various photos of the transferred students from Beacon Hills. Those were my current case before the nogitsune came back and possess me again.

"They're being paid to kill every supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills. Still case unsolve. I hope dad will figure it out," I goes beside her and then take a look at Hermione.

There's something off with her reaction. It's not just a typical curious one. Is she... Afraid?

"Hermione are you okay?" her eyes were glistening and lips were trembling. I looked at the article it's about the death of Brett and his sister, which reminds me of Liam's despise.

"That's really tragic. My friend's still up to hunt those hunters who did that. Funny isn't it? Werewolves being hunt by people who calls themselves Hunters," I chuckled but Hermione's gaze remains fixed in the article.

"Hey, you okay?" I shook her slightly on the shoulder. She turned her gaze slowly at me, it's starting to bother me since a real tears began rolling out of her eyes.

"D-do you know them?" I know it's stupid but why'd else she'll cry over Brett and his sister. It's more than a pity as far as I can see.

"S-Stiles... I- I think you got a bigger problem," she breathed out after struggling to steady her voice.

"What did you see?"

She lifted a shaking hand and pointed a finger at the date of the article.

"That's last month," I'm starting to feel more and more confuse.

"No..." she almost whispered it, her voice was breaking and I'm starting to panic now.

"What no? Can we leave the thrill aside first?" I snapped impatiently.

Hermione heaved out a sigh, "Stiles it's 1998, Hogwarts just revived from it's destruction last May from Wizarding war. You... You came from the future."

Her voice seems to drill inside my ears, giving me whole lot of headaches. I brush a fingers over my hair and slumped down the bed.

"A-are you sure? Hermione this isn't the right time for joke," but I know she's telling the truth. Constant eye contact and the way she's shaking in fear.

"You know I'm not lying. Stiles, we have to find that portal. It must be a broken barrier between the past and future. It may cause chaos if people start meddling with the time. Anyone could get through it just like you. It's... It'll destroy everything."

I don't know what else to say. Hermione knows about many stuff and what she's saying is very much confusing but rather maybe possible.

Living with so many unnatural things around me, it's not really hard to believe such thing. And judging by her brief explanation... It must be very dangerous.

"You will help me?" I said, breaking the silence.

Hermione shoot me a curious look but managed a small smile anyway, "I will."

I nodded my head and then we started finding ways to contact anyone from Beacon Hills. Anyone from the future where I came.
