(Alright guys, Remember that I told you I got three sisters? So one of them, The one who's close to my age (Name's Dina) wrote this chapter for me, In this chapter we'll find out what's gonna happen when she finds my secret, Thanks Dina if you're reading this, Enjoy guys)
Dina POV:
I closed the door to my car while waving and promising "This will only take a minute", but as soon as I entered my parents' house, the promise had been forgotten.
It's been almost four years since I got married and moved out and it still felt like home to me.
"Hello" I called out as I entered the hallway. Dan, my 1.8 years old son, ran towards me right away, hugging my legs. I stumbled down the living room to where I assumed everyone else would be. Sure enough, they were there. My mother was holding Chani, my 6 months old on her laps. My dad greeted me with a nod, Shmuel didn't care much about it, and Many gushed on about some toy truck I bought him (Which I did not, but god knows what goes on inside this boy's head).
As I was talking with mom and dad, Chely suddenly showed up "Hey Dina! You haven't heard my song yet" she reminded me.
"Right" I replied "I'll hear it now!" I said, truly excited.
The song she talked about was a song she and some of her classmates recorded for their Batya guide and I was thrilled to hear it because A. Music... and B. the recording studio owner was a close friend of mine.
I put headphones on and listened to the song. I was positively shocked. I knew Chely had a decent voice but I had no idea just how much and I didn't think she could hit such high notes, but she did, and quite beautifully so.
As I showered her with compliments I asked her permission to access my mailbox and send the song to a friend. She agreed and I was left alone. It took forever for the song to be attached and I absentmindedly played with the keyboard.
Suddenly the screen flashed white and the next thing I knew, I was standing in an unfamiliar room.
"Ah Chely! Welcome ba..." I heard a voice from behind me, as I turned sharply to face whoever it was, the speaker froze.
"You're not Chely..."
Leonardo POV
I heard a familiar voice coming from the direction of the hologram's system and figured Chely stopped by. Right on time too, I was pretty bored.
"Ah Chely! Welcome ba..." I approached her, but as I got closer and she turned around, I realized it wasn't her. I instinctively drew out my katanas and raised them up, but whoever she was, she didn't seem to be dangerous.
"Who are you?" I barked at her and she retreated backwards.
Dina POV
I used to write fanfiction all the time back in the days, before real life (aka children and job) kicked in, and back when I did, I always found it difficult to describe the reaction of a character facing an out-of-this-world experience.
Eventually, all my characters turned out pretty badass. They had their moment of confusion, fear and denial but they always found their cool pretty quickly.
That wasn't the case for me...
I was shielding myself with a chair shouting "Stay back! Don't come any closer. I know Krav-Maga!" (I actually don't, but I've seen my husband train a few times. That's gotta count as something right?).
The monster in front of me sheathed its weapon and now seemed more annoyed than intimidating. I allowed myself to stop screaming and waving my hands frantically and moved from behind the chair.
Now when I think about it, the monster looks a lot lie... It can't be!
Leonardo POV
We were all standing in the computer room, surrounding the new stranger.
She said she was Chely's sister but they hardly looked anything alike. Chely had brown hair, and the stranger (who said her name was Dina) had dark blond hair. Chely had blue eyes, while Dina's eyes were green. The only feature they shared was their bangs.
"I read her story, but I thought that's all it was... a story" she said, more to herself than to us.
"So Chely told us she doesn't really get along with her sisters..." Raph said, his eyes narrowed to slits.
"Well, you try sharing a room, not to mention a bunker bed with her" she defended herself.
"I do with Mikey! I think we all know who got it worse".
"Hey!" Mikey called out.
"And anyway..." Dina ignored Mikey's outburst. "Some time apart did wonder to our sistership... We get along better than ever".
"How come?" Mikey asked her.
"Well, she grew up quite a lot. And we have more in common, with her writing fanfiction like I used to do, and with both of us loving music so much, though her taste is so mainstream I can't even..." she rolled her eyes, and for the first time since, she actually reminded me of Chely "And speaking of fanfiction. We are in the freaking Benbow inn! Where's Jim Hawkins?" she asked with a spark in her eyes.
"He's in the space military academy" I told her and she seemed quite disappointed.
"Alright, I guess it's for the best. Would be a shame meeting my childhood crush as a married woman. Wait! Did I just say this out loud??!" she blushed.
Donatello sat at the computer, and seemed puzzled "I don't understand" he said, "I've fixed the machine. Involuntary teleportation shouldn't have been possible unless Chely would have actually wanted too."
Dina suddenly got up from her chair, and seemed grateful for the change of subject.
"Let me see" she told Donny as she took a sit next to him. She studied the code for a minute, asking him questions here and there, then she said "There".
She pointed at a seemingly random line of code. "This line shouldn't be reached unless the condition is met, but you've closed the parentheses just above it".
It seemed this gibberish made sense to Donny as he said "You right!" and typed on the keyboard enthusiastically. "That was pretty impressive" he noted while doing so "Where did you learn to code?" he continued asking.
"Well I work as an algorithm developer. You pick up some stuff..." she shrugged.
"Algorithm developer" I thought for a second "Then you must be the sister who's the closest in age to Chely" I concluded.
"That's right. I'm 22." she confirmed.
"22 and you're married with two children?" I wondered.
"I'm fast..." she said proudly then laughed and said "Not really. Most of our community gets married around the age of 18 to 20".
"18..." Mikey raised his fingers counting quietly "That would mean Chely will get married in three years!".
"Hopefully" was all that Dina said and was met with some shocked looks.
"You guys should know by now we are doing things differently in our community. She won't be told when and who to marry but I can guarantee you she'd be thrilled about it" Dina explained, her arms crossed, suddenly her eyes widened and she covered her mouth.
"Which reminds me. My husband is waiting in the car for me. And I told him it would only take a minute and it probably been over an hour. Oh oh..."
"I bet he would understand..." Donny reassured her.
"Yeah... I once told Chely my husband was the human version of Raph so..."
Mikey looked at Raph, then at Dina, and back at Raph "You better go now" he suggested.
"You think?"
As she got up and prepared to leave I asked her "Would you come back?".
"Definitely" she said then disappeared.
(Well, How was that? Do you like it? Leave a comment please so I can tell my sister what do you think, Love ya!)
