The morning after

I woke up early and went to the diner down the street and got us some breakfast then when I got back to the house I took everything out the bag and put it on a tray (don't judge me).

When I was finished setting it up I heard the door open and saw it was Miracle's mom.

"Oh hi Devante I didn't know you were and here where's Miracle" she said and I knew I had to come up with a lie

"I just spent the night and Miracle's still sleep" I said hoping she doesn't get suspicious

"Oh ok well I'm going to bed my feet are killing me" she said and I sighed in relief in my head

"Ok well I'm gonna go see if Miracle's up yet, bye Ms.Thomas" I said and she nodded then walked off

I sighed in relief then proceeded to Miracle's room

Miracle's POV

I woke up to the smell of breakfast then I remembered that it could be my mother so I looked over to the other side of my bed but I didn't see Devante

I quickly sat up then I heard the door open when I looked up I saw Devante smiling at me shirtless with a tray full of pancakes,bacon and eggs and I couldn't help but to smile back at him

"Good Morning baby" he said while sitting the tray on my lap then he gave me a peck on my lip's

"Morning De" I said blushing then I looked at him to see if he got breakfast but he didn't so I furrowed my eyebrows

"Where's your breakfast De" I asked

"I ate mine already while you we're sleep" he said and I nodded

Then I ate and it was so good I never thought Devante could cook like that

"Wait a minute isn't my mom supposed to be here" I asked looking around in fear

"Yeah she came by earlier but don't worry I lied and told her that I was sleeping over then she went to her room and went to bed she works really hard" he said and I nodded

"Yeah she does and if she found out I was having sex she would kill me I can already here the news report now 'mother killed daughter after seeing her in bed with a boy that she thought was a church boy but turns out to be a freak' " I said then Devante chuckled

"Good thing that didn't happen" he said then he yawned and I yawned right after

"Man I'm tired" I said

"How you tired when you just woke up" he said chuckling

"I don't know I just am" I said then i yawned again

"Well that's gonna have to wait because we're going out today I have a couple surprises for you" he said happily

"De you don't have to we could just go out for pizza or something" I said
