Miracle's POV

Ever since me and Devante went to that party he's been acting weird almost like he doesn't want this relationship anymore

"Devante you alright man" Dalvin asked in concern while taking out his bookbag since it was dismissal

"I'm cool" he said putting his head down in sadness

"Devante can I talk to you for a second" I asked and he gave me a small nod then we walked away to a locker far from where we were standing

"What's wrong with you De I'm not used to seeing you like this did something happen you know you can tell me anything" I asked in concern while holding his hand then tears started streaming down his face

"De what's wrong" I asked whipping a tear from his cheek

"You won't understand" he said with more tears rolling down his face

"Baby tell me what's wrong please" I asked

"We have to break up Miracle-i-im so sorry" he said and my heart dropped

"What" I said quietly

"I'm sorry" he said and I started crying

"WHY" I yelled out

"I can't tell you I'm sorry you won't understand I wish I never had to do this" he said grabbing my hand but I yanked it back

"Don't touch me" I said quietly

"Baby I'm sorry" he said trying to do it again but I backed away

"DON'T TOUCH ME" I said and I pushed him making him fall into the lockers then I stormed through the hallway busting through the door and started running home with tears rolling down my face

Devante's POV

I ran after her until I got outside but I stopped because she was already gone but I saw her running from a far distance then I yelled out hoping she could hear me

"BABY I'M SORRY" I yelled out with tears streaming down my face then they walked out with worried looks on their faces

"What happened Devante" Leyla asked

"We broke up" I said silently

"WHAT WHY" they asked in unison

"I can't tell you" I said quietly

"Look you better tell us what's going on cause this is our best friend you broke up with, now we don't care if we all have been friends since we were kids, we will beat a nigga up for breaking g her heart now tell us what happened" Destiny said and Leyla nodded as me and the rest looked at her surprised

"Ok look I'm not supposed to tell you this but my ex Tasha kidnapped me at that party I decided to go to with Miracle so I could protect her if anything goes down,while we were there we were talking then I felt someone pull me back and put a cloth over my mouth and everything went black,then I woke up in dark room and then she talked about why she did it and and she started forcing me to move in with her and be a father to this child that I didn't even know I had,I tried to refuse but she put a gun to my head and said that if I don't break up with Miracle and move in with her she'll kill me Miracle, and Dalvin so I had no choice,I really fucked up I'm sorry y'all" I said while we walked home

"Damn" JoJo mumbled while shaking his head

"Wait did you say Tasha,I thought that crazy bitch was in jail" K-Ci said

"Me too but I guess she got out" I said

"Wow and I can't believe you chose to spare my life YOU AREN'T A DUMBO EAR HAVING ASS NIGGA AFTER ALL" Dalvin said hugging me but I pushed him off me

"Man shut up you may be a Gremlin but you still my brother regardless,but foreal I just don't know what to do" I said putting my head down

"Yo we need a plan" JoJo said and we nodded

"Well me and Destiny gotta go check on Miracle when y'all come up with a plan just let us know" leyla said and Destiny nodded then we said our goodbyes and we continued walking

Miracle's POV

When I got home I noticed my mom wasn't home, so I put on my PJs and got a carton of cookies and cream ice cream, then walked up to my room and started watching my new favorite movie juice,after about thirty five minutes Into the movie I heard the door bell ring so I went downstairs and when I opened the door I saw Destiny and leyla

"Hey Mir you ok" they asked in unison then I stood there in silence with a blank look on my face and I busted into tears then they frowned and gave me a hug

"Aww Miracle I'm so sorry this happened to you" Leyla said

"I just wanna know why he did this to me I mean it's been like a month I thought he really loved me" I said as I plopped on the couch

"Miracle he does love you and he told us why he did it for a good reason" Destiny said and Leyla nodded in agreement

"Really why" I asked desperately

"He said that when you and him went to that party he got kidnapped by his ex Tasha and she forced him to break up with you and he had no other choice because she threatened to kill him and you,and Dalvin" Leyla said and I sat there in disbelief

"Really wow but why didn't he tell me" I said

"I guess he didn't think you would believe him because of the mood you were in" Destiny said and I nodded in agreement

"Wow I'm gonna need some time to process this" I said

I can't believe he made the choice to spare my life by doing something that would hurt us the most.........

He really does love me
