I can feel my heart thumping as I ran from those red gleaming eyes that set me his prey ever since we locked eyes from the beginning. The flickering lights gave me the anxiety as I took a turn around a corner to hide but only to be captured in those large hands. I tried to fight with my last bit of energy as I consider what I have learnt from my defence class. Sadly, it was blocked.

“You think you could run from me just like that?” I shiver as he said those words closely to my ear. My heart pumps. My knees are shaking—and it’s the first time I’ve felt such terror.

The last time I remember before smelling whatever he put in my nose through that filthy handkerchief was that, “You’re in my world, after all.”
