Permanent Marker.

Woah. (Chapter 7)

I pushed off the bright white door and was sent twirling around my room, i ripped the hairband out of my hair and spun one last time, taking a step to the mirror in the process. I pushed my slightly frizzy bangs back, put my hands on my hips, and looked at my self head to toe in the mirror. "Damn" I murmured to my self " I don't know what i was so worried about" I turned around far as i could, looking at my butt. "Damn" I said again, a little louder this time. I could hear a few voices echo as they passed my room, and continued down the hall, I fell back onto my  bed giggling, I lifted my legs into the air, after admiring how okay-looking i actually was, even for being as pail as i was, for a few more moments,  I decided to go to the library. A giant building, full of some of the most wonderful things in the world. More books than you could begin to imagine, each with their own tale,  own stories, and i was determined to read them all. I pulled my long blond hair back up into its pony tail, re-tucked my shirt, and grabbing my books (to do homework) I came rushing out of the room, down the stairs, and out the front door. Into the beautiful spring sun-light.

For once i didn't notice the awkward, awful, embarrassing looks people gave me. I walked with confidence, i held my head high and ignored the dreadful comments whispered as i walked pass. I got to the library, and spent 4 hours there until it was about time for super, and walked back, a little mad i had to go so soon. I saw Nathan and Rebecca at Dinner,  He smiled a little, and she hit him upside the head for doing so.  When all the other couples where making goo-goo eyes at each other from across the tables, they would just fight. I hated seeing him unhappy, it hurt, it felt like i was being stabbed in the stomach, and i just wanted it to stop. Why not me? i would wonder. Why cant he just be happy..

After Dinner Rebecca went back to her dorm in the next building over, and he walked me back to my room in silence. " So uh, yeah, like i said before, Day after tomorrow you should come over at like.... 4? is that cool?" He mumbled shyly.

"Yeah!" Trying not to sound desperate, and obviously failing, i exclaimed.

With that i went twirling into my room, happier than I've ever been before.
