The Missing Uchiha (Naruto fan fiction )

Chapter 20

Kira's POV

Today is the day. The day that I will ruin my brothers life. Not like I have much of a choice. If only I was stronger.

After the last encounter with the man I learned that he was a powerful ninja. Powerful enough to be the organization called Akatsuki . I stand no chance against him. I could try , but I probably end up dying in battle or die from serious wounds.

"Damm.." I whispered. My vision became blurry . Tears started to pour out of my eyes . I couldn't stop them. My chest tightened. "I'm sorry sasuke. No matter what choice I make I'll end up hurting you either was" The tears didn't stop.

Why me? That is all I could ask. I had a family then they were taking from me. Now that I had found another one I was being force to abandon them.

I grabbed a pen and paper and started to write

Dear Sasuke ,

If you are reading this that means that I have left the village. I'm sorry for leaving you. I want to thank you for what you did for me , I'm truly grateful. Our time was cut short for an inconvenience that I can not tell you about. Maybe one day I'll tell you.... if we are to meet again. I hope that you'll be able to forgive me .  But it's all up to you ...

With that I finished my letter. I put it in place where I knew that he would find it.

I quickly packed all the stuff that I had and put them in a bag. I walked to the front door. As soon as I reached the door knob I stop.

I was hesitating. Should I just let him kill me instead and spare Sasukes' life. After all it's me he wants.

No. I'll go to make sure he keeps his word that he would not harm sasuke.

I quickly open the door and left.

Once I got to the gates the guards were napping. I stoped and looked back. "I'll make sure you are safe sasuke" I whispered to myself. I secure my bag and quickly jumped to the nearest tree and took off as fast as I could.

Once I made to the lake , I saw him. Sitting on rock with his eyes close.

I clenched my fist knowing that this man was the reason I would bring grief to sasuke. "I'm here"

"Ahhhhh took long enough , un" he smirked. "Whatever. I'm here. That is all the matters" He stood up and walked over to me.

"You did the right thing coming to me, un" he whispered in my ear. "How can I know you are not bluffing"

"What do you mean" he asked me while looking up in the sky. "Don't play dumb. How can I know that you won't hurt sasuke"

"Are you doubting me? Hm"

"Considering that you are an S-rank criminal, and you are member of the missionary group called the Akatsuki , I'll have my doubts."

"You are right. But I'll keep this promise. Un" he said and next thing I know he injected me with something.

"I'm sorry but I can't have looking while I take you to the place you'll be staying, un" he said as I lost my balance.

Everything became blurry and soon it was all dark.

Sasuke's POV

She was gone.

I had just came back and found the note. That is when I ran to the room. All of her stuff was gone.

What could have happen for her to leave so suddenly? Was it me? No. She was enjoying her stay her.

It does not matter anymore. She is gone. My family is gone. Just why did it had to happen. Why can't our family be together. Was that so much to ask.

"Kira, I promise that I'll find you. Just wait for me. We will be brother and sister. Just wait for me." I said while holding back the tears that were threatening to come out. And they did. I want to stop crying but I can't . So I just dropped in my knees and cried

After I had calmed down I ran out of the house to find kakashi.

"Kakashi!" I yelled after I spotted him coming out of store with new books. He looked back and stopped walking. "What is it, sasuke"

"Kira— gone—" I panted . "What" he looked at me.

"Kira is gone. And I don't know why" I said to him with clear sadness in my voice. "Since when" he asked "i don't know. When I came back her stuff was gone and she just left a note saying that there was an inconvenience"

Kakashi just looked at me . He probably felt sorry for me. I mean who wouldn't . Once again I had become the only uchiha in the village.

"Sasuke. You will find her. She must have had a good reason to leave just like this. So keep your hopes up that one day you'll find her. For now we need to stay calm." He told me as he put a comforting hand on my shoulder .

" I guess you are right, but can keep this as confined as possible?" I said "yes. I'll inform the hokage and the team." He said as he poofed away.

"Kira I'll find you. Trust me"

Kira's POV

"Sleeping beauty, you are finally awake. Un" I familiar and annoying voice said. My head was throbbing from the pain .

"Uggghh. What the hell did you use to drug me" I said as I clutched my head " A little drug that my partner made. Of course he does not like it when I get near his stuff, so I had to take it away in secret" he told me

As a looked around I notice that I was in a cell. The walls had scratches and the lighting was very dim. I was also chained. The metal around my ankles and hands were heavy. "Ahhh we don't want you escaping now do we. It was a pain to find these type of chains. These chains slowly take away you energy and chakra." Of course he would notice me looking at the chains.

"Whatever" I said to him as a struggled to get up. He came in and took away the chains. Only for him to put hand cuff on me and put a blind fold on. He took me out of the cell and began waking for what seem an eternity.

I abruptly stopped. The bling fold was taken off. My eyes were blinded by the sudden change in light. Once I had regain my vision I was met with a bunch of men and one woman.

"Now who is laughing un" the blond said. I looked at him as he was smirking to a guy with black hair and eyes. The man was glaring at him yet he seem calmed if you looked at his face.

A men with a bunch of piercings walked to me.

"Welcome to the Akatsuki" his deep voice said

That is when I knew my life would change more than it already had. I'll just pray that I'll have enough strength to bare whatever they decide to do with me.
