"So you wanna hang out later?", Marshall asked.
"Yeah, come hang out with us later", DeShaun said.
"Sure".
"Yes", DeShaun said, fist pumping the air.
"You're crazy DeShaun", I said, laughing at DeShaun. Marshall laughed as well. "Whatever", DeShaun said.
Me, Marshall and DeShaun were all walking back home. Marshall and DeShaun picked me up from high school. I only go to keep my brother off my case.
DeShaun lived in a actual house, unlike me and Marshall who live in trailers. Marshall lives with his mom, Debbie and his half- brother Nathan, we call him Nate though. I live with my brother, he's twenty-four. I swear it's like his friends live there too, they're always there.
"See you guys later", DeShaun said.
"Ight man", Marshall and DeShaun did that weird handshake and then a hug thing. DeShaun turned the corner and me and Marshall continued to keep walking straight.
"Your mom gonna be home?" I asked, semi-hoping she wasn't. Marshall's mom doesn't really like me.
"Nah. Bingo night."
"Oh," I nodded my head slowly.
"So what's our plans for tonight?"
"Music and maybe go to the Shelter."
"Yes. The Shelter's awesome," I said, fist pumping the air.
The Shelter is a underground rap place, were they have rap battles. DeShaun brings his friends and we all hang out. Marshall is the only one who doesn't go on stage, probably because his first time he got booed off. The crowd didn't even give him a chance. Just 'cause he's 'white' he apparently can't rap. I know he can, Marshall's rapped to me. He's even wrote some raps, they're pretty cool.
I've gone on stage a few times. I've won some and lost some.
"Guess DeShaun's not the only one who's crazy," Marshall joked.
I punched his shoulder lightly, "You just jealous!"
"Of what?" Marshall asked, with a amused smirk.
"All this awesomeness!" I said, pointing to myself.
"Whatever", Marshall said, rolling his eyes and laughing.
"Admit it, you're jealous!" I said, my voice going a bit high.
"I'm not though."
"Sure M&M."
"Cece, don't me that."
"Why?", I asked, a smirk growing on my face.
" 'Cause that's not my name."
"You call me my rap name."
"Yeah, but your a better rapper than me." "Not even. I've read your lyrics to your raps, they're awesome!"
"No"
"Yes"
"No"
"Yes"
Me and Marshall continued our 'yes no' fight until we got to our trailers.
"See you later."
"Yep.What time?"
"Come over at eight or nine."
"Kay", I opened the door and stepped inside.
