As soon as the clock struck 11 I made my way back to the trailer. I opened my slightly cracked window and climbed my way into my room. The sound of Debby's car could be heard as I quietly closed my bedroom window.
A sigh escaped my lips as I pulled off my sneakers and dumped them on the ground.
Peering through the dark I could see the time.
"11: 05," I whispered to myself.
A loud yawn broke through the silence of the trailer. I realized that I was the one who had let out a massive yawn.
As soon as I sat on my bed, I felt a wave of tiredness over come me. I glanced down at my clothes.
"Eh," I thought, as my heavy eyelids closed.
Just as I was about to fall asleep, I heard a tapping at the window. I rolled over and tried to ignore it.. That was until it became quick loud taps.
"UGH," I moaned as I rolled over and threw my feet over the bed.
It was.. It was Marshall. What the fuck is he doing here? Especially at eleven something or rather.
I opened my window.
"Yeah?" I said yawning afterwards.
"Can I crash here? My mum kicked me out"
"Yeah yeah. Whatever,"
"Thank you," Marshall whispered, as he began climbing through the window.
"No problem," I mumbled as I climbed back into bed.
I heard the thud of the window closing and footsteps.
"You're sleeping in that?" Marshall asked.
"Yeah? You're sleeping in that?"
"True."
I closed my eyes. A rush of cold air caressed my body as Marshall got under the covers. I couldn't be bothered arguing.
Before I fell asleep I heard Marshall's humming.
The loud buzz of my alarm clock awakened me. I didn't realize Marshall's arm was wrapped around me until I tried getting up. I carefully pried it off me and tip toed to where my uniform laid.
"Ugh not this shit again," I mumbled to myself. I pulled off my clothes that I wore as pjs and quickly pulled on my uniform, not caring about new underwear as Marshall might awake any second.
I wasn't aware that he already was awake.
"Damn girl, " Marshall said, wolf whistling. My cheeks turned bright red. Marshall's laughter echoed through the room.
"Shut up man," while still blushing like a red traffic light. Marshall's laughter stopped but a smug smirk stayed on his face.
How I loved that face. Wait what? What did I just think? Snap out of that Cece.
"Stay here, I'll go get some food," I said as I poked my head through my bedroom door. Marshall nodded.
I snuck down the hall, trying to be as quiet as possible. Imagine the teasing I'd get if Cj knew Marshall was here.
In no time I was already at the fridge. I pulled a can of some energy drink. One for me, one for Marshall and another one to smuggle for DeShaun. I grabbed some food from the cupboard and snuck back to my room.
I busted the door open, kicked it shut and placed the food and drinks on the bed.
"Here," I said giving Marshall one of the energy drinks.
"Thanks," he said, cracking open the can and taking a huge gulp of the sweet liquid.
I opened mine and took a sip. A burst of energy flowed through me and my tiredness disappeared. Marshall and I ate the food and I put DeShaun's drink in my school bag.
My alarm clock buzzed again, telling me that's it's time to get my ass to school. I sighed.
"What's that alarm for?" Marshall asked.
"Telling me to get the fuck to school."
"Oh. Can I come drop you off at school? "
"Eh, sure. Why not?"
I thought I saw Marshall's eyes brighten when I said that.
"Well... Let's go," Marshall said trying to get me out the door.
"Hold up."
I pulled on my shoes and threw my side bag over my shoulder.
"Ready?"
"Ready," I said nodding.
Marshall gave a single nod and cracked the window open. He climbed through it, while I made my way to the front door.
Marshall was already there by the time I closed the front door.
"Come on, you're gonna be late," Marshall said, taking my hand and walking rapidly. The same heat from before came on my checks again
... I think I have a massive crush on Marshall....
Great. This is gonna hurt like a bitch.
