I quickly put on my scuffed sneakers and a hoodie. I shoved my new CD's into my hoodie pocked and tip-toed quietly to the small window. I opened it up wide enough for me to squeeze through. I slipped through, landing feet first. I closed my window, but left it open enough so I could open it back up and get inside.

I straightened my hoodie and made my way to Marshall's trailer. "Shit", I whispered as the door to Marshall's trailer slam shut. Marshall's mum, Debbie made her way to her car, opened the door, got in and slammed the  car door shut.

She drove off and I snuck to the trailer. Just as I was about to open the door, it swung open, causing me to nearly fall inside. "Hey", Marshall said, smirking. "Hey asshole", I said jokingly, standing up straight.

"Is she here yet?", I heard DeShaun shout. "Yeah. I'm here". "Come on, I got some new CD's", Marshall said, taking my hand and leading me inside. A rush of butterflies went through my stomach and my cheeks heated up. "I've.. I've got some too", I said, stuttering slightly.

Marshall pulled me into the lounge. "Hey", DeShaun said, slurring a bit. "Hey. Are you drunk?", "Psh. No", I rolled my eyes.

"Anyways, look what I got", I said, pulling out my new CD's. "Aw cool", Marshall said, "Can we play them Emo Chick?", DeShaun asked. "Can we?", I asked, looking at Marshall with puppy dog eyes. "Fine", Marshall said jokingly. "Now what one?", I asked. "Uh that one", Marshall said, taking the CD off me.

A minute later the rap music started to blare through the stereo. "Dis is the shit!", DeShaun said, bobbing his head with the music. "Fuck yeah", Marshall said. "You're welcome", I said, dancing to the music.

"Come on guys", I said, pulling Marshall and DeShaun off the couch. "Noo", Marshall protested. "Aw come on. For me", I said, making puppy dog eyes once again. "Ugh whatever. Just 'cause your hot", Marshall said, getting up off the couch. "Ohh", DeShaun said, jumping around.

We all danced in the lounge. "Hold up, you hear that?", Marshall said, turning down the music. "What?", I whispered. "Yeah what?", DeShaun said. "Shh", Marshall said, holding up a finger to his lips.

Then we heard it. The crys of Marshall's baby brother Nate. "I'll go get him", Marshall said. "And put that crap away", he said, pointing to the bottles of alcohol and running out the lounge. Me and DeShaun got to work, putting away the bottles quickly. "If Marshall's mum finds out we're in deep shit", DeShaun said. "Uh huh", I nodded in agreement.

We finished just as Marshall came back with Nate. Nate was walking while holding Marshall's hand. "Hey cutiepie", I said, "Cece!", Nate said happily. He let go of Marshall's hand and run to me. "Hey Nate", I said, picking him up.

"Somebody likes you", DeShaun said. "Shut up" , I said, lightly punching him on his face. Marshall laughed as well as me. "Ah, that hurt so much", DeShaun held his hand to his face. "Shut up DeShaun, I could take you out", "Okay break it up, break it up", Marshall said laughing, coming in between us.

"Nate, you hungry?", Marshall asked, making funny faces. "Uh huh", Nate said, giggling. "Okay. I'll get you some food, "Yay!".

"I better be getting home", DeShaun said. "Aw why?", I asked, "Yeah why?". "I just gotta get home", "Ight man", Marshall said, "Met up tomorrow?", Marshall asked. "For sure", DeShaun said. "See yah", "Peace out", DeShaun said, running out.

"Can you put Nate in his chair?", "Sure". I put Nate in his high chair. While Marshall made some food, I was talking and making funny faces at Nate. He giggled and cooed. "Here we go", Marshall said, "Open up for the chu chu train", Marshall said. Nate opened his mouth wide and Marshall fed him.

"What time your mom coming home?", I asked, pulling out a chair and sitting down. "Eleven or twelve", Marshall said, feeding Nate another spoonful of food. I did that slow nod thing.

"I guess I better go", I said, getting up off the chair. "No. Come on stay for a bit longer", "Fine". I sat back down. "What we gonna do now?", I asked. Marshall shrugged his shoulders.
