Chapter 16 | Lie

The passed few weeks, Seungcheol and Jaehee were getting closer and closer.

"Let's go get ice cream after work!" Seungcheol invited Jaehee and she agreed to go with him.

So after working, they went to an ice cream parlor. They order their favorites and dat down on the open chairs.

Jaehee's phone began ringing. She looked at the caller and it was Jimin. She bit her lips before answering.

"I need to take this call." She knows she couldn't ignore Jimin. She nevers ignore Jimin.

"YAH! KIM JAEHEE! ARE YOU IN DAEGU?" Jaehee was shocked when Jimin mention Daegu.

"Why would I be in Daegu?" She tried to keep calm.

"Yoongi Hyung just came back from Daegu. He mention that he saw you over there." He explains.

"Yoongi saw wrong then." She chuckled to make it seem like she isn't there.

"Alright then. I was just curious. What are you doing anyway?" He asked out of the blue.

"Hanging out with a friend."

"You know I'm more better than all your friends you have." He claimed.

"Whatever. I have to go now. Bye Jimin." I hung up the phone and it Seungcheol seem to be more suspicious about me.

"So apparently you're not in Daegu?" He had a confused look plastered on his face.

Jaehee let out a sigh. She needs to explain to him otherwise it's going to keep bothering him.

"Let's just say, I ran away from my friends." Shr licked her ice cream.

"Bwo?! You ran away?! Waeyo?!" He yelled. Probably the people were looking at us crazy.

"Do I have to tell you?" She asked, but she did want to tell him because she wanted someone to know about her problems.

"We know each other for a week and a half now. You can trust me. I'm all ears."

She began telling him about that Jungkook and her were forced to marry each other and then fell for each othef somehow. Then the miscarriage she had. And lastly, Jungkook's memory loss.

Another phone call interupt them again. It was Jimin again. Jaehee thought it was going to be about non sense so she didn't pick up.

As she continued to speak, her phone rang again, but she hung up again.

Her phone began to blow up and she ignored it, turning her phone on mute.

-Taehyung's P.O.V-

Kim Jaehee where are you? I ran to the cafe where she works, but it was closed. Where can she possibly be?

She's not answering the phone which is the first. Why does she do this now?

"Have you seen her anywhere around here?" I began showing a picture of Jaehee to random people.

I called Jimin again.

"Taehyung! Have you found Jaehee yet?!"

"Hyung, she's no where to be found!" I croaked back. My eyes were beginning to form tears. "Put me on speaker!"

"Jungkook... if I tell you where we are will you stop your action?" I felt like crying. "Jungkook, jebal..."

"You can come over here. I'll help you claim Jaehee again. I know she still loves you and if your gone, she will fo the same." Tears fell out of my eye.

"Taehyung he getting down." I hear Jimin's voice.

"Oppa?" I turned around and saw Jaehee standing next to him. "Why are you crying?" She began to worry.

"Jungkook... don't do it please." My voice seemed like it was going to crack.

"Where did you go-" Jaehee snatched and hung up the phone.

"If you're going to tell them then I'll go somewhere else farther!" Seungcheol tried to calm her down.

-Jungkook's P.O.V-

"Hyung, I told you it wasn't going to work." I seemed like I might actually jump off a bridge. "I'm going to move on now." I said as I headed out.
