Chapter 8

(Y/N)'s P.O.V

The day was going by quickly that it was already lunch. Daniel had to stay after class and lucky for me Vic was in my class so we could walk together. We were walking through the hallways as he started a conversation with me.
"S-so how are you l-liking school so far?" He asked me with a shy smile.
"W-well it's okay just yesterday I-I-I  accidentally c-crashed with a g-girl and she was so m-mean." I responded to him. He was about to speak but a jock looking kid crashed into me making me fall on my butt and my glasses fall off my face.
"Watch it nerd, you have glasses for a reason." He told me with anger laced in his voice.
"H-hey! Just l-leave her a-alone!" Yelled Vic kind of nervous. The guy turned around and looked at Vic with a smirk. He walked towards him while I quickly got my glasses and stood up.
"N-no! Leave us alone!" I yelled as he turned back to me. He was about to speak but stoped when we heard a voice.
"Leave them alone Scott." I turned to see Justin and Daniel who looked very angry. The man who I'm guessing is Scott looked kind of scared. Daniel walked up to him and shoved him into the lockers while Vic walked towards me and leaned down to help me pick up my stuff. I looked up and saw that the mean guy was gone and Daniel and Justin were standing there just looking at us. Daniel opened his arms and I just walked straight into him and wrapped my arms around him. We walked to the cafeteria were we saw Alex looking down at his watch with a bit of a worried face. He looked up to us once we got closer and sighed.
"I was worried were you guys were. I was about to look for you." He spoke as he pulled me into a hug.
"Scott was giving them some trouble but we took care of it even little Vic here was standing up for our baby sis." Said Daniel with a smile.
"That's my boy," said Gabe getting up and throwing his arm around his younger brother. We looked at each other and smiled shyly as Gabe just chuckled at us.
Lauren's P.O.V 
I was getting tired of hearing about the new girl. Apparently everyone was so interested about her and Ruby. Isn't one to be nice to people but apparently it's a fairytale because the new geek us making her show her soft side. Honestly I just want everyone to shut up about her already. I was walkingto lunch and sat down at my table just to hear everyone talking about the Laras.
"I think she will get popular I mean I've heard she has Ruby wrapped around her finger."said Dinah as she shoved fries in her mouth.
"I think she will get popular because of her brothers but I think she will end up with Gabe's little brother Vic. I mean they're so cute together he was helping her with her books it was too cute." Said Ally as she bit into her apple. I groaned with caused the girls to look at me with confused faces.
"Can we not talk about the nerd for a bit I'm tired of her." I said with a bored tone.
"What's wrong? You mad that for once nobody's attention is on you?" Asked Mani with a small smirk while I just groaned again.
"No but I don't get the big deal about her. She's a nerd, a nobody like come on now." I responded to Mani.
"I think Lo is just mad that the girls haven't been chasing her. They're to caught up with (Y/N)'s adorable and innocent looks." Said Camila.
"Yeah I bet if she tried she could have you wrapped around her fingers Lo. With her looks and amazing personality you'd be a goner." Dinah said with a smirk as just laughed.
"Me wrapped around her finger? Ha! That's funny Dj. I would never fall for anyone like her." I said as I looked over at where she was sitting. She looked up and saw me staring. She looked down as she blushed while I smirked.
