Chapter 10

(Y/N)'s P.O.V

I was getting ready for Vic to come over. I had finished setting up the living room with books, notes, my pencil bag and laptop. Once he got here I would bring snacks so we could munch on. I'm not gonna lie I was a bit nervous. This is the first time a boy would come over for me who wasn't family or a very close family friend. Would this end up like the time that Daniel bought a friend over? I don't think so because Vic isn't like that. He's sweet and super polite. When I think about him I feel a bit fuzzy and I don't know why. I should probably ask Luke. I'm scared to ask my dad because he might say that I shouldn't be feeling that. I looked at the time and realized that Vic and his brother should be here in like 10 minutes. I went upstairs to alex's room and saw him and Danny playing a game. I walked in and just sat between them.
"What's up baby sister?" asked Danny as he kept his focus on the screen.
"Um is it wrong that I'm a little nervous?" I asked looking down while playing with my fingers. I heard the sound of the game stop so I looked up to see that the game had been paused. Alex had turned to look at me and just threw his arm over my shoulder.
"Not at all (Y/N/N). It's because one he's a boy and second it's the first person ever to come over as your guest," Alex said.
"Yeah nothing to worry about baby sis," Danny said then kissed my forehead. I nodded and gave them one last smile as I stood up to leave. I walked down the kitchen to see Leo on the counter as my mom tickled him. They just made me smile, I love my family. After about five minutes of just standing there smiling at the two of them, they finally noticed me. Leo smiled and made grabby hands at me. I walked towards him and hugged him. My mom smiled at me then turned around to what I'm guessing is start cooking.
"Mija should I prepare snacks for you and your friend?" Asked my mom.
"No mom it's okay I'll do it," I told her with a smile. Meanwhile Leo looked so confused when my mom said friend.
"Fwend? You mine!" He yelled as tears pooled in his eyes. I felt my heart break. I pulled Leo into my arms and held him as I gently rubbed his back.
"Leo don't worry I'm still yours, but this is a new friend. He's really nice and sweet, I'm sure you'll like him. You can even be with us okay?" I asked him as I made him look at me.
He nodded and just went yo hug me again. Then I felt my nerves rush back as I heard the knocking on the door.
