Chapter 12

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.
I nervously walked towards the door. He's here and I'm freaking out. I know this is just to study but its the first I have a friend over. Plus that friend just happenes to be a boy. Don't get me wrong I would also be nervous if it was a girl too but remembering everything my dad told about what he would do if a boy ever hurt me made me more nervous. I placed my hand on the door knob and slowly started twisting it open. There stood Vic with his back pack on and his hands filled with about 4 textbooks. I smiled slighty looking down and he returned th very shy smile also.
"H-Hello come in," I told him as I opened the door wider to let him in.
"T-Thank you," he repiled. I led him to the living rom where he was able to set the books down on our coffe table. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and saw my brothers.
"Hey Vic where is your brother?" asked Alex.
"H-he's coming h-he left something in his c-car," Vic said while looking down at his shoes. Right as he finished, we heard a knock on the door. Alex ran to open it and we saw Gabe walk in. He said hi to me then headed up stairs with my brothers. I looked at Vic and saw he was already looking at me. We both made eye contact and just smiled awkwardly.
"Let's sit a-and get st-started yeah?" I asked Vic who just nodded in response. I hated being so shy.

We had been studying for about an hour now and it was going great. We got more comfortable around each other so we stopped stuttering. We we had gone through math, and were currently doing chemistry.
"Ugh I hate chemistry Mr.Bitton makes it so complicated." I groaned out.
"Trust me I know but we'll get through it," Vic told me with a smile.
We were just about to continue but looked up at we heard someone cough. It was my mom with Leo in his arms.
"Well hello there you must be Vic," she said while looking at us with a smile.
"H-hello um yes I'm Victor or V-Vic for short." He spoke while looking down and playing with his fingers. My mom smiled at him then spoke again,
"Well Vic would you and your brother like to stay for dinner?"
Vic looked at me and I just smiled in return.
"A-Are you sure? I wouldn't want in-"
"Oh please Vic it'll be fine, you're staying, okay?" My mom cut him off then asked him. He looked back at and I just nodded at him with a smile.
"Okay," he replied to my mom with a smile. In my head I was just wondering how this dinner would go.
