I reread the note thinking i missed something but no the watch was definitely my way out. I had nothing better to try so I pressed the button on the side and all of a sudden the box I was in was hit by a blue laser from my watch and sucked into the watch and I was standing where i was when i nearly fell asleep. I looked around in disbelief and wonder. I didn't have long to celebrate because it was now nighttime and temperatures were plunging which meant i had to break into somewhere to find warmth or die from the cold. I found somewhere relatively quickly and broke the window. I climbed through the window and immediately felt the warmth. I sat down on the floor for a while to warm up and decided to check the place for food. All I found were some Twinkies and some chili in the fridge. I knew it was better than nothing so i gobbled it down. I was going to need my energy after a long day so I decided to begin my quest in the morning. This time i checked my surroundings before going to sleep and then fell into the pits of darkness known as unconsciousness.

My dreams were not dreams at all. They were nightmares. I dreamt of a large snake locked underground with fangs as large as my whole body and defenders of the prison being slain one after the other. Then my dream shifted to an overview of Long Island and zoomed in on one dude standing in the middle of the road in a trenchcoat, a bowler hat, and dark sunglasses. The oddest thing about him was that he was skinny almost 2D and his skin was a sickly green. His mouth didn't move but yet he spoke in my mind and he told me to come find him. I sat straight up and heard the door unlocking. I scooped up the remaining chili and ran. Before i hopped back out the window he caught a glimpse of me and was reaching for his phone. I ran harder until I was so out of breath I couldn't run anymore. I stopped to contemplate how on Earth I was going to go 400 something miles if I had no money and no vehicle. I realized my only option was to pickpocket. I got up, straightened my hat and got ready for the most dangerous and most pressured pickpocketing spree of my life.
