Things were going great I was pickpocketing so many people I had 19 wallets. I decided one more couldn't hurt. I started trailing this particularly rich guy who always boasted about his money to everyone around him. I went in and tried to grab his wallet and he grabbed my arm and judo-flipped me. I couldn't breathe for a second. Then he started morphing. He morphed into a snake and all the clothes on his body were gone and his wallet was still there. But there was the matter of the snake. It jumped at me and I ducked and I took my hat off and it turned into a sword. I could tell this wasn't the snake I saw in my dreams but it probably still had fatal poison and I wasn't going to test my luck. Me and the snake just kept circling each other. I lashed out and the snake dodged. The snake jumped at me and i knocked it away with the flat of my blade. It squirmed until it was able to get up again. It decided I wasn't worth it so it took the wallet in its mouth and ran. I took off after it and barely caught up to it before it went in the sewer. I took my sword and sliced off its head. I took the wallet and celebrated but it was short-lived. I heard cop sirens in the distance and decided I needed to bounce. I turned my sword back into a hat and put it on and ran from the scene and the cops.

I ran until i found a train station. I though traveling on a train would be much safer. I went to buy some food before I got on because I hadn't eaten since the night before. I checked my watch and it was three in the afternoon. I hadn't eaten in at least 15 hours and I was starving. I decided on McDonald's because there was no where else to eat. I ate the last of the chili and ordered some nuggets. I finished and paid and walked out the door back to the train station. I paid and got onto the train and took a nap. I woke to startled shouts and the screeching of the brakes. Then the train flipped and i used my watch just in the nick of time and it teleported me and all the passengers out of the train. Luckily, no one was hurt but now we could see what stopped the train. Three guys who were basically black smoke. I grabbed my hat and it was a sword. I told the civilians to back up and then I charged at them. They charged at me too. Their bodies were smoke but their swords were definitely solid was the first thing I learned about them. One thing I'm gonna recommend about combat. Don't charge three people when you barely know how to wield a sword. I disarmed one but the other two converged and disarmed me. Now i had no sword and two others with swords. The third one was gone. I looked all around but he was simply gone. His sword was still right next to me and i picked it up. It was heavy but i could hold it. I was about to charge but then one of them spoke. He said,"So this is the one who killed the snake we sent after him? He doesn't look like much." Then he turned to me and said," You will die here young one. You will not live to see the end of the world. We will kill you here before you reach the snake. Hell, you might not make it anyway. It is planned for New Years. How ironic." Then i had the best thought of the day: It was time to kill these two. This time I ran at them and made sure they were both in my line of sight. I knocked the sword out of his hand and he dissolved into the air and the third one charged and I blocked his strike. We went back and forth neither gaining an advantage over the other. I didn't know what to do so I did something only one would do if they are desperate. I rolled under him and thrusted upward with my sword knocking it out of his hand and he dissolved. I dropped the swords and grabbed mine. I turned it back into the hat and walked back over to the civilians. I made sure they were all OK and then I decided to walk to the next station. It was now 4:30 in the afternoon on December 27th and if the smoke spirits were telling the truth, I had 5 days to get there and stop the end of the world. I found the next train station but it took too long. It was 6:30 by the time i got there. I got to the train station and found I was only in Ithaca. I waited for the 7 o'clock train and i was getting impatient. Finally the train came and I bought my ticket and hopped on this time with hopefully no stops. I bought some food off the lady who came by car by car selling food and ate it. Then I sank into the darkness hoping beyond hope that I could somehow pull this off.
