"What's this?" he questioned, fingers reaching into the envelope. The smile I had on my face didn't falter as I watched Harry take out the picture.

"I completely forgot you had an appointment today... wow..." His eyes scanned over the ultrasound picture of our baby, the corners of his mouth lifting. His eyes that were always so sparkling, so bright, suddenly became glossy. He laughed the way people usually do when they're embarrassed and quickly whipped his eyes and cheek with the back of his hand.

We both stood in the middle of our kitchen, Harry starring at the picture for so long. I was fine with letting him have his little moment of realisation. I had that moment when I came home from the doctor's earlier that day. The moment when you look at a picture of your baby and it hits you that you're having a child.

"It finally seems real looking at this picture." Harry spoke after minutes of complete silence.

"There's a baby in there," he said softly, getting on his knees so he was eye level with the small bump.

"Our baby's in there." His voice became quieter with every word that he uttered.

With his hands on my stomach, a kissed was placed on the bump. It was incredible to see Harry already in love with our child. The love could be seen in his teary eyes, heard in his voice. It was actually quite fascinating to listen to Harry murmur to our unborn child. Simple phrases such as "you're already our everything" and "we love you so much" made it clear that this baby was going to be taken good care of. I didn't think for a second that Harry would ever neglect our baby. Even if he tried, his heart was too big. This child, whether it's a girl or a boy, will be spoiled rotten and I'm okay with that.

"As cute as it is watching you talk to our little baby, I'm getting a little tired of standing up." I informed Harry. A soft chuckle came from him and he stood up. Before I had the time to register what he was doing, I was in his arms, being carried to our couch. A squeal of delight left my lips and he sat down, placing me on his lap.

"Better?" Harry asked, his hot breath tickling my neck. He kissed the spot just under my ear as I nodded. His left arm wrapped around my waist, large hand on my swollen tummy as his right hand took the TV remote, going onto Netflix for our movie night.

"What are you in the mood to watch?" he questioned.

"Whatever you wanna watch. I picked last time, now it's your turn." I told him, while trying to get even more comfortable in his arms. I leaned into his chest, my head resting on his shoulder as he scrolled through the choices.

"What about 'The Vow'?" I had been dying to see that movie ever since I'd seen the trailer, but never got the chance to see it in theatres. I nodded quickly and Harry pressed play.

My eyes focused on the screen and a throw blanket was placed on top of mine and Harry's bodies.

Our movie was interrupted halfway when a loud knock followed by a ring of the doorbell was heard from the front door.

"Are you expecting anybody?" I looked up at Harry, but he shook his head and set me on couch. "I'll be right back." He pecked my forehead before disappearing to the front door. I waited just a couple of seconds before the voice of a female greeted Harry and I heard him encourage her to come in. The voice sounded young, around Harry's age. From what I could hear from their conversation, they were catching up.

"Probably just an old friend" I thought and waited for the unknown woman to leave so I could be alone with Harry like our Friday nights are supposed to be.

After 10 minutes I was growing impatient. I just wanted to cuddle with harry and continue our movie, but he was still chatting away with the girl.

I decided to get up and check out who she was. I walked as silently as I could and peeped my head out from a wall where I could see them, but they couldn't see me.

"I heard you moved back in town and I got your address from Niall." The girl was pretty, I must admit. She had long, shiny blonde hair and her outfit, well I wasn't really a fan. She had a on a very short skirt with a crop top. I had no problem with crop tops because I wore them myself, but this girl was wearing one that was obviously a size or two too small and the top was practically pushing her boobs out of it.

"Yeah. Moved back just a few months ago." Harry informed her. He was completely oblivious to what she was trying to do. She was standing closer than a 'friend' usually would and I did not like that at all.

"That teaching job was not what you wanted?" The girl questioned.

"It was great. I just needed a change." Harry answered. Yeah, we both needed a change. We needed to be able to go public with our relationship.

"I know it must be strange to see me here, three years after we last saw each other, but here's the truth Harry. Ever since you left me, I couldn't get you out of my head. I'm still in love with you. I asked Niall for your address because I was hoping you were still in love with me." the blonde confessed everything and I could feel the jealousy bubbling up inside of me. I was guessing she was Harry's ex-girlfriend.

My jealousy turned into hurt as I replayed what she said. 'Hoping you were still in love with me.' Harry had told me that I was the only person he ever loved. I knew I had to step in before I heard something that would hurt me even more.
