We're not who we use to be

chapter 16 it's cold outside

        Harry's point of view
I had see so many times where my mom had got contractions and I had to be my year old self and rub her back.  I actually did for awhile and she enjoyed it.

Now that my wife is having a baby,  I have to do the same thing for her to relax.  The one day the contractions got so bad we had to go to the emergency room. Now it's almost 7 months in and on her last trimester.  She will be having our baby girls.  When we went to the er they did another ultrasound and they said we are having twins. 

I put on my beats and listen to some 5sos. My favourite song came on.

I sing along and Toby is peacefully sleeping with her head on my lap.  After awhile she woke up. 

"Hey Sleeping Beauty," I say. 

"Hi, Prince Charming," Toby says. 

I try to read her expression. She looks half confident and half sad.  I knew in an instant that something had happened with either Mitch or her parents.

"Something happened to my brother," she says.

"How do you know," I ask.

"I dunno," she says.  "Please drive me to my parents house."

"OK," I say. 

I drive her to her parents and as soon as she gets in she sees her parents crying.

"Mom, dad what's wrong," Toby asks. 

"Mitch was killed," my dad says.

"No.  No.  He can't.  I'm calling him," she says. 

She dials her brothers number. I think she got a voicemail.  She breaks down crying. 

"This can't be. I loved him to death we both had lots of fun when we were younger," she starts to shake and sob.
