Loosely based on the first episode of season 13 ....spoilers up ahead ....
You open the bunker door and sigh "GUYS IM HOME !! I GOT FOOOD !!" you yelled , you just came back from a big hunt in Canada so you really didn't know what was waiting for you down the steps . "And why is there a hole in the wall - who are you ?"you said now noticing that there was a teenager in the library "I'm Jack ." You nodded and placed the food down on the table and smiled "uh... hi jack I'm (y/n) nice to meet you....Dean Sam !!!!!" And they came running "oh hi (y/n) .....you just got back ..and I see you meet Jack ." Sam said , they both looked nervous.
"Yeah .....when did we start recruiting kids , what how old are you?" Jack looked at you "I was just born yesterday." He said and looked into the bags , you didn't expect that answer even if you were that sarcastic, still didn't expect that . "Cool ....and uh guys what's with the hole ?" Dean held a smile but quickly changed back to a straight face . They both looked back at you .
"What is this ?" Jack asked , holding a slice of pizza "it's pizza , you never had pizza ?" He nodded and your eyes widened and you hugged him "How have you not had pizza ! Who raised you ?!" You said , what could you say you very passionate about pizza . "Uh no one yet I was just born yesterday." In a way he reminded you of Castiel "you kinda remind me of Castiel, when he was human , remember dean ?" Jacks eyes seemed to widened at the name and Sam and deans seem to fall into a more depressed state . "You new my father?" Your eyes widened, you didn't hear that straight, he didn't say Cas was his dad ...did he ? That can be possible, you weren't gone for that long were you ?
"W-what ?" Sam and Dean both looked at each other before speaking "(y/n) ....we got to tell you something's ...." dean looked guilty, and so did Sam . "Sit down." You gave them a look "dean I think I can -" dean cut you off "(y/n)! Please ....just sit down and let us explain."
It took them both two hours to explain what has happened since you left for the hunting trip. Every thing from the Lucifer getting laid and Clare getting pregnant to now. You were just silent for a moment , you took it all in . "Okay ." They looked at you "what ? Okay ? Didn't you just hear what we just said ?!" Dean said "I did ." Sam gave you a looked "and you can say is okay ?" You nodded. " I mean this job isn't safe proof." You said and you slowly got up and went to your room .
"She gonna hold it in ....isn't she." Dean said and Sam nodded "I don't understand." Jack said not fully understand what had just happened "Jack .....(Y/n) and Cas were in a relationship ...." Sam said "but she had left to help a friend up in Canada before any of this started ......it's good that she wasn't here for all this mess but ....knowing her she's gonna keep this inside." Dean finished , you walked back in holding something in your arm. Sam and Dean both looked at you as you walked in "guys can I have a talk with Jack ...." they looked at each other and nodded , you smiled as you looked at jack , you sat down and placed the folded cloth in front of him "Jack ....I think this might help you with things ....that I think Castiel would want you to have this ." Jack looked to you then to the cloth, he unfollowed it to find out it was a trench coat "Castiel would use to wear them all the time, I just this would help you in some way to connect with him ...in a way. " he looked to you and smiled.
He put the coat down "can you tell me about him ?" You smiled "I would love to , but let's eat before the food gets cold you must be hungry . Guys get your butts in here and eat ! " you yelled .
Through the dinner things had seemed to have lighten up some, the guys were laughing and you did too . You were happy to see Jack smiling . Though you felt happy to see them happy , you weren't okay . The love of you life is dead ....you were bond okay, but just to see them forget about there problems for this time was worth the fake smile and the quiet tears .
It's what you do for family......right ?
