Jughead Jones has just moved to the south side to move in with his new foster family while his father served jail time. While I'm the south side he gets his father's jacket and motorcycle, but what he didn't expect to get was curious about one redhead girl who seemed to have control over everything in the south side.

Betty Cooper was worried. She had seen her boyfriend put on the Serpents leather jacket, and as much as he says it was just an act, she didn't think it was. The two had started to slip from one another after that, somehow no longer seeing eye to eye.
When Betty sees Jughead and a girl from the South Side, her anger boils and she becomes determined to make sure that he doesn't leave her for this new girl.

Veronica Lodge, the girl with daddy issues had grown closer to her boyfriend within the time span of a few days. When her boyfriends dad is shot, she doesn't know whether she should flee like the old Veronica would, or to stay and be the caring girlfriend. One thing is for sure, she thinks her parents had something to do with her boyfriends dad being in the hospital.

Archie Andrews, the town savior. First it was Cheryl Blossom and Sweet Water River, now it was his dad Fred Andrews. He didn't want to be known as the savior, because in his eyes he wasn't one, he was just someone performing a good deed. Archie told his friends about what happened at Pop's the morning his dad was shot, and was surprised when Jughead had offered to talk to the Serpents about anyone who might have known anything. He was surprised though, when he saw her.
They all were surprised when they met a girl, just a year old then them, known as The Serpent Queen.
