Monday Morning
*Maysie POV*

Gasping I shot up from my bed, dripping wet and cold.

I looked to my right and saw my dickhead brother with a bucket water recording me.

"Micheal, IM GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU YOU SON OF A-"

"Hey watch Your language. Anyways you have 5 minutes to get to school so you better hurry up" he said cutting me off and walking away.

I hate him so much. He is supposed to be in college but instead stays here and annoys me all day.

Rolling my eyes I went towards the bathroom and took a quick shower.

I threw on some leggings and my Nike windbreaker with some huaraches.

I ran downstairs said bye to my dad and hopped in Mal's car.

I hurried and started the car up and sped down the road.

My song 'Halo' by Beyoncé had just  came on the aux  when Malachi called me.

(M-Malachi My-Maysie)
M- where are you?

My- well hello to you too

M- whatever.I'm not the one that's always late.

My- damn I caught that shade.
Anyways I'm not late yet.

M-really cause the bell just rung

My- yea yea Mal

M- yea yea my ass. I hope you're not speeding in my car Maysie

I checked the speedometer it said 80MPH

My-oops

M-MAYSIE SUNSHINE
JACKSON IF I GET A FUCKING TICKET I SWEAR

My- bruh it's  no biggie there is no cops around

M- MAYS IM NOT PLAYING

My- there is- oh wait I just got stopped by a cop oops

M- MAYSIEEEE IM GOING TO MURDER YOU

My- chill chill there was no cop

M- okay well-

I hung up the phone. I was in front of the school anyways but I knew Malachi was still going to kill me.

As I got out the car the bell rung signaling the start of first period.

When I walked into class everyone stared at me.

"Hi Ms.Jackson please take a seat" my teacher Jenna said.

She has a crush on my dad so she is extraaa nice to me.

I smiled kindly at her and sat next to Malachi who was taking notes.

Deciding to aggravate him I did THE the top 3 things that always annoyed Malachi.

Thing #1- Missing Items

Malachi hates when he is missing something and can't find it.

So, when he wasn't looking I stole his pencil.

I held in my laugh as he looked everywhere for his pencil he even blamed the guy next to him for taking it.

I couldn't hold it in so I busted out laughing.

He rolled his eyes and held his hand out for me to give him his pencil.

"You're so childish Maysie"

"Yea I know thank you" I replied smirking when he shook his head.

Thing #2- any noises

Malachi hates specific noises like Pencil tapping or Screeching chalkboards and even the clicking sound that comes from the top part of a pen.

So, I took my pen and clicked it for about 10 seconds until Malachi looked over at me.

He put his hand on my thigh and leaned over "can you please stop"

I laughed so hard my stomach was hurting.

Malachi blushed furiously and slumped in his chair.

Last but not least Thing #3 - Cutting him off

Malachi hates being cut off by anybody so of course every time he tried to say something in class I cut him off.

It was so funny to watch his cheeks get red in anger.

Finally, it was the end of class and by that time Malachi was so aggravated he stormed off without even saying anything to me.

I laughed for the millionth time today and grabbed my stuff walking with one of my aquatints Latoya.

"Trouble in paradise?"she asked referring to Malachi.

"Nah I was just aggravating him in class"

"Aw. Poor baby, look how mad he his."

She pointed in the direction of where he was.

He was at his locker switching his books out and kept pushing his glasses up his nose.

I sighed "maybe I should go apologize?"

"He'll be alright girl. He's just a nerd anyways "

I stopped in the middle of the hallway and turned around.

"What did you say? Nerd?"

She looked at me confused "yea that's what I said. But I guess he is kinda sexy. Especially with them tatoos"

Licking her lips she gazed at Malachi from the opposite side of the room.

"He's not a nerd Latoya" I groaned and kept walking

"Eh. But can you-ya know, set me up? Momma needs a little white chocolate in her life"

I rolled my eyes walking faster. I need new aquatints.

Once I reached Malachi he was closing his locker.

"Hey best friend" I yelled hoping on his back.

Grunting he put his arms around my legs automatically securing me and began walking.

"Why must YOU aggravate me so much Mays?" He asked.

"It's funny when you're mad" I replied.

He chuckled "of course, Anyways are we going to Hungry Howies during lunch?"

"Yea sure babe" I replied.

I could practically feel him roll his eyes as I hopped off his back seeing we were in front of the class.
