A new life

It had been a week since the incident, the young woman that captured the vampires heart hasn't awoken yet. Did he give her to much venom? Was she going to be ok? So many thoughts swirled through his head and his brother wasn't helping him. The seeds of doubt and her not waking made him feel sick, all he could do was wait....

(???? POV)

I tended to the girl as I usually did, the master was extremely worried for this girl well-being... I sigh and do the best I can to help her that was until I hear a soft groan escape her lips. Was she waking up? I looked at her and prayed she was waking up so I could inform the lord she's awaken....

(Your POV)

My body aches as my eyes slowly flutter open, I could feel a soft warmth to my side as I looked to see what the source was. What I saw baffled me, the man was literal fire. I stare at him for a moment, he was wearing butler's uniform. He soon took notice me starring and gave a soft smile. "I see you're awake now" he said in a soft voice, it sorta sounded like a crackling fire. It was soothing to hear him talk as I slowly sat up. I looked at my skin and I got paler then before, my skin was lightened dramatically I was almost snow white. I gasped and got up from bed and quickly ran to the mirror only to find no reflection. I screamed in pure horror as I wasn't human anymore. This, this can't be happening, this was all a dream right? I held my head panicking more until I felt a warm hand on my shoulder.

The heat felt nice and calming to me, I looked to where the hear came from only to be greeted with a man on fire. I stared in shock as he gave me a warm smile, "are you okay miss?" He says in that crackling fire like tone. I felt oddly safe around this man despite just meeting him, the way his tone of voice was soothing and the way he gave a soft warmth of heat, it felt like like a warm and comforting hug. All around he didn't look nor acted like a threat causing my defences lower quite a bit. "I-i'm fine...." I manage to sputter out. He seemed to nod and smile at me with a caring father like smile, "well if you're up now I must inform my master...." he told me as i froze. I wanted to refuse and just pretend I was asleep again then face that mad man, I looked at the fire man before me and tried spewing out some sentence as to why I could not see him. But alas all that came out of my mouth was incoherent babbles as he left to get his lord as he stated. I stood there and stared at the door, what was going to happen to my life now? That answer now lied out of my reach and within the clutches of a crazed vampire skeleton.
