Wednesday
Munib has been very distant and I have gotten so close with well wisher
Sometimes i wish it was a guy

"Do you want to burn down the last property we have?"Salim asked angrily switching off the stove
And closed my eyes tightly
"I am so sorry,practice makes perfect you know"i apologised and also defended myself
"Nailah just watch me cook,thank you"he said still annoyed
After few minutes i burst into laughs
"What?"he asked trying not to smile but his lips betrayed him
"I am going to miss you,you know"i confessed sadly
"I am still thinking,we can't all go and leave you alike"he said thoughtfully while I decided to wash the dishes
"That's true"i added sadly
"You don't need to worry about that,Mama will happily accept her to stay with us while you are in school"a voice called and we looked towards the door
"Halima!"i exclaimed very surprised
"Surprise!"she said dropping the bags she was holding
And i hugged her happily while Salim stood there smiling
"When did you come back?"i asked with a raised brow
"Yesternight,sorry I put my mouth into your discussion"she said to Salim
"No problem"he said shaking his head
"I have come to get her,you know we are registering for waec,neco and jamb today.mama said I should come and get her"Halima explained
"Really?"i asked with wide eyes
"Yes,silly.go get ready lets go and your gift is in the green bag while the clothes Mama bought for you is in the yellow bag"she explained while we walked to my room
After I got dressed we left for school immediately
Arriving at school we met our mates excitedly
"Nailah"Our principal called
None of my friends knew she was the mother of my childhood friend Numan yet
"I am coming girls"i said getting up
I excused myself out of the hall
"How are you dear?you never called
I told you to call if the need arises"she said with a worried expression
"We are all fine Alhamdulilah"i replied softly with a smile
"That's good to hear,Numan is coming back soon.we will visit you with a news"she said with a smile
And the statement rang through my brain
"You will understand when it's time,I will send you all some thing later" she added thoughtfully
"Thank you very much aunty"i said smiling
"You can go register now"she urged waking away
I smiled walking back into the hall,I was called next
"What would you like to become someday?"our discipline master asked
As if it was his business
"A doctor just like how Doctor Abba us"i replied nonetheless and I saw his and the registrar' s confused expression
"Sorry,doctor"i corrected sitting right
"Everyone medicine,a course that needs determination"the discipline master spoke again with a wicked smirk
"And i am determined"i assured confidently
"I like your confidence"the registrar said
After every registration we were given a book tittled "Dreams"
I smiled walking out to meet my friends that were chattering away
Halima's mother is Allah's sent
And my dream will come true in sha Allah all thanks to her because Allah really sent her.
I have to tell Aah about her and Aunty Asiyah
