"What?" I scream, walking into the house. As soon as I walk in, Daniel picks me up and carries me upstairs.
"Seavey put me down!" I yell.
"Not until you and Jonah make up and kiss." He laughs.
"What?" I ask. By now we're in his room with the rest of the boys.
"Oh hey guys." I huff. I see Jonah and his face is red with anger. He obviously doesn't want to be here either.
"I'm leaving." I state, walking back down the stairs.
"Wait." I hear from behind me. I spin on my heel and see Jonah standing there.
"I'm sorry." He says. For.. what?
"For what?" I ask, raising my eyebrows.
He thinks about this for a minute.
"For being rude earlier." He sighs.
I nod and turn back around.
"Where are you going?" He asks me. I roll my eyes, turning back around.
"Home?" I say, although it sounds more like a question.
"But.." he starts but I cut him off.
"But what? Did you really expect me to come in here and just forgive you? I'm not ready for a boyfriend! Not after last time." I say, my voice fading. I remember it like it was yesterday.
I had a boyfriend. Yes. I loved him. He was rich, but perfect. We lived together, which was probably not the best idea.
We threw parties, everything was perfect until he met some new friends.
He started getting drunk and beating me, so I broke up with him.
"What happened last time?" Jonah asked me, stepping a step closer. I tell him. I tell him about it all.
Jonah sighs.
"Okay." He states.
"What?" I ask him, confused.
"I'll give you time. I'll wait for you. As long as it takes." He kisses my cheek and then disappears upstairs.
