Goodnight Kisses (Polyamory Tom/Edd/Matt)

"No!"

Tom suddenly woke up from his sleep. His eyes wide open and confused, another scream was heard from the other side of his room. He throws himself over his bed and rushes outside to the door.

"Edd?!" Tom yelled knocking furiously on Edd's bedroom door.

"Tom calm down!" Edd opened the door, "What's wrong?".

"I heard screaming, I think it's from-"

Another loud scream came from Matt's room. Tom and Edd looked at each other worriedly and dashed to the ginger's room.

"Go away! No- Leave them alone!" he could be heard screaming from his bedroom door.

"Matt open up!" Edd yelled. Tom knocked on his door as loud as he could, suddenly the door creaks open, "It's not locked." Tom said confused.

The two barged into the room. Matt laid on his bed, the covers were thrown to the floor, wriggling and squirming like a worm, he was still screaming.

"Matt stop! Wake up!" Tom shook him.

"N-No! Stop!" Matt yelled.

"Matt it's us!" Edd shouted and shook him.

His eyes suddenly shot open, he stood up from his bed clutching his chest and panting. Tom rubs his back in effort to ease him down, his body shakes and beads of sweat rolled down his face.

"It's okay Matt," Edd cooed, "It's just us."

"I'm sorry." Matt panted.

"Another nightmare?" Tom asked, he nodded.

"I don't wanna sleep anymore." he sniffed, "I just keep getting nightmares."

"Come on," Tom said, "You've been so frail these days, if anything you need to rest more."

"Then that means more night terrors for me." Matt frowned.

"You need more rest, you'll get even weaker if you don't." Edd smiled, patting his shoulder. Matt emitted a groan and rested his head on Tom's shoulder, rubbing his puffy eyes.

"I keep dreaming about that day."

"What day?" the two asked in unison.

"The time Tord wrecked the house with his giant robot." he croaked.

"It's okay now," Tom smiled. "It's been a few months and everything has been peaceful."

"I know." Matt sighed, "But I just can't forget it."

Edd and Tom looked at each other, sharing worried glances. Edd scoots closer to him and places a hand on his lap, "It was a scary day." he said.

Matt nodded, "And to think he almost killed you Tom."

Tom lets out a wry smile and ruffles his hair, "Even death won't stop me from getting back to you."

Matt's face flushed, making him laugh softly.

"Don't worry," Edd cooed. "As long as we're here, we'll protect you."

Tom and Edd both wrapped their arms around Matt. He giggles and hugs the two back.

"Alright, get some sleep." Tom kissed the other's forehead and hopped off his bed.

"Sleep well." Edd smiled and kissed his cheek, following Tom after.

Matt wraps himself in his blanket. He looks at the two just as they slowly opened the door.

"Wait!" he yelled.

The two looks back at him. He stood up from the bed, still wrapped in his blanket.

"Can you guys um..." he scratches the back of his head. "Sleep with me tonight?"

Tom and Edd chuckle looking at each other then back at Matt, "Please?" he begged.

Tom looks over to Edd, he shrugged, Tom laughs and nods.

"Okay."

"Yay!" Matt cheered quietly to himself.

Tom plops down on Matt's side, facing him, and Edd on the other side. Edd wraps his arms around Matt, burying his head on Matt's back. Tom curls up in front of Matt, pulling the covers over them.

"Goodnight." Edd said, leaning over and kissing his cheek.

"Goodnight too." Tom smiled and gave his forehead a peck.

Matt smiles, feeling his face heat up and laughs.

"Goodnight."
