"Louis, what are you doing!?"

Louis' head snapped up and he caught the ball before it hit his head. He scowled at it for a moment before turning his attention to the one who had kicked it at him - Liam. He sighed, knowing that he hadn't been paying attention to the game they had going on . He'd been thinking about a certain green eyed boy.

And jesus, it'd been two days since he'd last seen him, but Louis hadn't seemed to be able to get him out of his mind.

"Where's your head, Louis?" Niall joked, walking over to him and Liam from where he'd been playing as goalie.

Liam frowned at Louis, seeing something else in his gaze. "Why're you so distracted? You haven't been all here for two days." Liam said, his brown eyes searching Louis' for some sort of answer.

Louis shrugged, sighing. In truth, he didn't really know why he was so distracted. He shouldn't be distracted at all, not by this boy who he'd never talked to and didn't even know his name. But here he was. "I don't know, Li." He answered, looking away from the concerned eyes of his best friend.

Niall raised an eyebrow. "Whatever, mate. C'mon, lets go get lunch." He said, plucking the ball out of Louis' hands and turning to grab his bag which was beside a tree.

Niall had had a class today, and Louis had one a bit later, which he was still considering skipping. He wasn't sure, what if the boy turned up again? It was likely, he didn't seem the type to completely skip a class.

As the trio wandered across the road to the cafe, Louis decided he needed to stop this silly obsession he had over a guy he didn't know. With that decided, he smiled as they entered the cafe and sat down at their usual table, ordering drinks and food.

And of course, just as conversation with the boys struck up, Louis' eyes caught sight of him. The boy sat in one of the booths, his head down and his hand moving quickly across the pages of that damn journal, writing. He had no food around him, just a glass of water.

As Louis' eyes raked creepily over him, he noticed that the boy wasn't wearing a jersey - it was at his side - and instead he had a simple, loose band t-shirt on. This made Louis look a little closer because he could swear he could see bones of the boys shoulder through the t-shirt.

"Hey, guys. Who's that?" He asked, interrupting whatever Liam and Niall were talking about and pointing to the boy.

Liam snorted. "Him? That's Harry. Wierd dude. He's a loner, I've never seen him with anyone." He replied, before looking at Louis curiously. "Why?"

Louis shrugged, not taking his eyes off the boy - Harry. The one who'd occupied his mind for the past few days. "No reason." He simply told Liam, before dragging his eyes away and returning to the conversation at the table.

He couldn't help glancing at Harry every now and then - just to see what he was doing. That was all. He wasn't being creepy. Not at all. Harry stayed hunched over his journal, writing. He paused every now and then, and Louis could almost see the frustration taking over the boy.

Eventually a waitress walked over to Harry's booth, Louis - being the creep he was slowly turning into - watched to see what Harry ordered. But the boy simply shook his head, turning a little pale. The waitress sighed, before turning and walking away. Harry looked down, frowning, and Louis wanted to hug him.

What was wrong? There was something about him that Louis just wanted to sheild him from the world. He seemed innocent, but something make Louis think that he really wasn't.

The bell above the cafe door rang, signalling someone elses arrival, and shaking Louis back into reality. He returned to the conversation again, sighing. This wasn't normal. Once their food arrived, the three boys ate quickly, and stood to leave.
