Cammy POV

I woke up and felt Chris arms weren't around me anymore. I got up and rubbed the rest of the sleep out of eyes. Chris was up singing to CJ.

I remember Saturday mornin's

Me wakin' up to mama in the kitchen cookin' and spam cookin'

I was just a young dude, watchin' mornin' cartoons, waitin' for mama to braid my hair

I used to hate to get it done, cause she'd braid it too tight

My mama always gave a style she knew I would like, and then

I would go outside and play, she'd sit on the front porch

While me and Rob played ball

Mama always did little things like that

Mama always will know I love her for that

For all the things that you used to do...

"I swear you need to get signed already," I said when he was finished.

He smiled, "You liked it?" I nodded my head.

"How long you two been up," I asked.

He looked at his watch, "Since 9:00 this morning he was crying and you didn't wake up so I got him."

"I'm sorry," I said feeling bad.

"Babe it's okay you had to push out a 5 pound baby out of you, you need to rest." He walked over to me and handed me CJ. He tried to kiss me on the lips but I dodge him.

"I have morning breath or at this time afternoon breath."

He chuckled, "You hungry afternoon breath?"

"No," I lied. My stomach growled and he smiled.

"Whatchu want lil mama," he asked.

"Babe you don't have to you been up with the baby all day."

"The usual from Charley's," he asked heading out.

I sighed, "Yeah."

"Ms. Garcia you have two visitors," the nurse said.

"Bring them in please." She came back with my parents. "Hey mom dad," I smiled weakly.

"Hey baby girl ," my dad said. My mom just walked to chair sitting next to me. "Can I hold him," my dad asked referring to CJ.

"Yessir, his name is Christopher Maurice Brown Jr." My mom sucked her teeth. I wanted to say something but I just ignored her.

"So what's this thing about you committing suicide," my dad asked not evening looking at me.

I sighed, "I don't know I was just feeling--"

"Selfish," my mom budded in.

I looked at her, "The only selfish person is you."

She laughed a little, "And how am I selfish, I didn't try to kill myself when I'm pregnant with a baby!"

"You abandoned me, you were the same age as me when you were pregnant with me!"

"And I tried to teach you that should wait but you had to be a fast tail!"

"But when you were pregnant your mom helped you every step of the way not once did she leave your side so why are you leaving mine?!"

"Cammy I don't have to explain myself to you!"
