The great mountains and forests of nature are a unique escape.
You can hear the wind collide with leaves as they swiftly flow.
Sometimes you can hear the crackling of careless families laughs around the fire.
Not only can you smell it, but you can hear the crashing of rivers.
The free birds fly so high as they soar from tree to tree, singing.
At night, as you lay under the stars, the crickets and owls whisper goodnight.

You can walk the dirt roads in the good of the night.
Feeling adrenaline as you run through the trees to make you great escape.
Hearing the escaping river crash upon the rocks, it still freely flows.
The spark in your eye, from the glee of escape from the city lights, school, work, like an evening bonfire.
Wanting more, you slowly dip your toes in the tepid river.
As you relax there on the river bank, you begin to slightly and softly sing.

As nature calls for you, like a song of hope and freedom it sings.
You think of many things that could make this such a goodnight.
The river ahead sparkles from the glowing moon above and from the present, you know you’ve escaped.
The thoughts of all the present troubles in the world, technology, pollution, and road rage vanish as it of
your mind it flows.
Smiling, you stand up with your heart and soul full of life and fire.
The movement of water fills your ears again; it is the river.

You imagine all you can do in this beautiful place, such as dance in the river.
You can even run through the trees while you duet with the birds, you sing.
You observe the setting sun as you sincerely murmur goodnight.
All thoughts in your mind, will they ever escape again?
You won’t know for sure again till you glide through the bushes and freely flow.
You can run and run, your skin covered in morning frostbite, but your soul is on fire.

And you see something, through the trees it glows like a fire.
The feeling you get with your family in moments like this, just like at the river.
Around the fire, you and your family free, careless, and happily together, sing.
Into the tents, they slowly disappear one by one, saying “I love you” to their goodnight.
While you sit with them, you wonder why some hate this kind of escape.
Then you feel a drop on your forehead, as rain above starts to flow.

Everyone gets up, shuffling to the tents you soppingly wet flow.
Smoke rises upward as rain unforgivingly slaps against the fire.
The crackling of the family blends in with the water crashing in the river.
Into the night, you hum along, your spirit lifting while the pureness of nature will sing.
You lay in your sleeping bag, listening, listening to nature sing its goodnight.
Your night was successful in leading you to your escape.
