My eyes slowly opened, revealing my room. I tried to get up, but a piercing pain tore through my head causing me to go back down.  My arms were draped with bandages. How did this....oh, never mind. I remember what happened, I was trying to protect Ciel from Madame Red. It probably wasn't the best idea for my part, but at least he's okay.

I slowly crawled out of bed trying to avoid hurting myself, then I walked out of my room into the hallway and down to the main corridor. "Annabelle!" I heard three people say in unison. Looking up, I saw that it was Bard, Finny, and Mey-Rin. They all rushed to my side.

   "You're awake!" Finny screamed happily.

"You gave us a good scare girly." Bard said.

"Im so glad that you're awake, yes I am." And Mey-Rin followed, nodding her head.

I gave them a warm smile then asked, "How long was I out for?"

"About four days." Bard told me.

My eyes nearly poped out of my head. "What?! Four days?" Bard nodded. "Dear god, what did I miss?" I asked.

"Nothing much." Finny said very quite and sad like. He hung his head, looking at Mey-rin, Bard then back at me. Oh no, the funeral. That had completely alluded itself from my mind. I couldn't help but feel sad about that. Madame Red was a kind woman at heart.......you know once you get past the fact that she attempted to kill Ciel, including me in the process. She kind of reminded me of my mother, I'm not exactly sure how tho.  Maybe it was her spirirt.

"Oh." I said. We all stayied quite for a few minutes, until I broke it. "Um where's Ciel and Sebastian?"

"They went out for a few airens, the Young Master and Sebastian will be back in a little while." Bard told me.

"Okay." After I said that, my stomach randomly started to grown.

"Hungry are you?" Bard asked jokingly. "Well, I would be too if I hadn't eaten in four days. I'll make you somthing to eat and don't worry I won't burn it." We all laughed as Bard walked out of the room to the kitchen. When we all stopped laughing, Mey-Rin and Finny went out to the garden and told me that once I was done with breakfast to meet them out there. So that's what I did.  I ate the eggs and bacon that Bard made for me (which was really good), then I went outside.

"Hmmm, I wonder where in the garden they might be." I said softly to myself.  Aimlessly walking around in the green maze - like garden, I came to realization that I was lost. "Crap." I said out loud. For what seemed like hours I walked through the garden, either trying to find Mey-Rin and Finny or just my way out. But alas, no luck came my way.

Hours have passed and I have finally made my way out of the garden. My feet ached, I had lost my voice. It scratchy and my throat was sore. At this point I'm about to throw down. I was beyond furious.

Stomping my way to the doors of the estate, Sebastian opened the door as I walked up. "Im glad to see that you've made your way back safely." He said smuggly. I shot him a killer glare. He put his hands up in surrender. "Don't be mad at me Miss Annabelle, Young Master gave me a direct order not to search for you." Right as those words left his lips I stormed my way upstrairs. "Please don't be so hard on him, he didn't have a successful day." Sebastian called, but I tried to ignore him.

After just a minute, I arrived to Ciel's room. Without thinking, I slammed open the door to reveal Ciel in his pajamas reading a book.

"You little bastard!" I horisly yelled. All good that was, a pain shot through my throat. I walked up to him and slapped the book out of his hands.

   "Hey! What was that for!"

"You know exsactly what that was for!" My voice was both cracky and shaky. Kinda hard to intimate someone. "Thanks for noticing that I was missing!"

Ciel looked at me strangly. "What happened to your voice?"

"Forget about my voice you short brat."

Anger spread across his face. "Don't talk to me that way little girl."

"Im not the little one here." I shot back. We were now inches away from each other, I was looking down at Ciel.

"There are reasons that I didn't have anyone go looking for you."

"Oh ya? And what are those reason?" My eye began to twitch.

"Because I didn't want to have to take care of you. If you were lost in the maze then maybe you wouldn't of gotten hurt."

I started to laugh hysterically. "That's funny since a few days ago I was shielding you from your Aunt, your welcome by the way."

"I didn't ask you to do something that stupid for me."

That just made me angrier. "So the next time your butler is busy fighting off something and your life is in danger, I should just let it 'play out!'?"

"Yes! At least if I get hurt you won't!" At that moment my heart skipped a beat. "Maybe then I'll get a little brake from you!" Nevermind. Anger rushed back into my mind.

"Fine then, next time you get stumped on somthing you can figure it out yourself!" I yelled.

"Then it's settled." He hissed. I glared at him for one more moment then left his room to go to mine.

'What gives him the right to treat me poorly? What put him in the sour mood?'I thought to myself. Then it hit me. Sebastian warned me about his 'unsuccessful day,' but I didn't think much of it at the time. Crap! And now that I yelled at him, that's made it like 20 times worse. Don't I feel like a nice person. (Every bit of sarcasm intended)

When I got back to my room I just plopped down onto the bed, not giving it much thought. Trying to calm down I closed my eyes and began to fall under deep and relaxing sleep.
