I opened the door and stepped out of the car. I looked all around the place and there were yellow tapes surrounding the car and the truck that says 'caution'. And there were also police cars around it with the doors opened but not a soul was in sight.

I ran towards the car dodging the yellow caution sign and peeked inside. Flashbacks about that day appeared in my mind as tears began to form in my eyes but I blinked a couple of times so that the tears would not flow but it didn't work, it just made it flow endlessly. The next thing I know Julie was comforting me and was rubbing my back.

"It's okay, Ashley. They are watching over you now. And we will find your sister one way or another."Julie whispered. I breathed deeply and wiped my tears.

I nodded,"You're right, we'll find her."

Julie walked towards the back of the truck and I noticed something green and slimy leaking at the bottom, luckily Julie didn't notice it or else she would touch it. That was probably the thing that changed my parents into zombies.

The door was locked and Julie was about to open it when I shouted,"Stop!" Julie jumped a bit because of my loud voice, "What if something is inside there or someone? And you don't have a weapon or something."

"Sheesh, okay calm down."

I walked towards her and grabbed her arm, pulling her with me.

"Slow Down," She said, trying to catch up with me. I looked at the driver's seat and saw no one there. I walked at the front of the truck and saw a bump at the front, probably the part where the car bumped into. But what made me wonder was that the truck we bumped into was facing our car and the chemicals were at the back part of the truck, if that was the case then why did my parents turn into zombies? Then I noticed something, there were trails of the green chemicals along the road.

''Psst! Julie! come here!" I followed the trail of the chemical and it suddenly stopped. The last leak was big, about the size of my palm. "Julie, I think the chemical was already leaking out of the truck before we even bumped into it." I said as I looked at her, she was observing the chemical but thankfully did not touch it.

"Yeah, it ends right there," She pointed to the last leak. I also realized that the last leak was after the bumpy part of the road.

"Maybe when the truck passed the bumpy part of the road, the chemicals inside shook and the bottles fell causing it to break then it poured out of the truck and leaked." I quickly ran to the truck and observed the lock on the back part of it as Julie did too.

"The lock isn't completely sealed that's why it leaked out of the truck!" We both said at the same time loudly. Then suddenly footsteps were heard behind us. We turned around to see about three to six zombies behind us.
