I woke up to the sound of the door being opened as it hit the wall with a loud thud. There stood Julie with a scared expression. "Ashley, Ashley, I believe you now." I gave her a confused look "The zombies, they are real. The zombies are all over the city now." My eyes widened.
I stumbled over to the window and opened the curtain. Oh no, this is all my fault. If I only stopped my parents from reaching the city, the virus won't spread and the city will be back to normal but that also means killing my own parents, I can't do that even they are already dead. Julie was right, the city was a mess. Zombies were everywhere.
"What do we-" Julie was interrupted by a loud noise coming from downstairs.
I looked at Julie and asked,"What was that?" She just shrugged. We went out of the room and slowly walked down the stairs.
We reached the bottom and saw the door busted open. I looked to my right and saw zombies walking over to us. They got in the house.
We went to the back door and opened it. We came face to face with a zombie. And I tell you, it's not the best thing to look at. It just made me want to puke with it's bloody face. Well, this is not the right time to do that. Julie shrieked as the zombie tried to claw us and I closed the door immediately. I looked back and the zombies were getting closer and closer to us. I looked for a room but there was none.
"Go up!" Julie shouted. I followed her up the stairs and looked down at the zombies, they are following us.
"Quick, there!" I said pointing to the nearest room. We went inside the room and locked the door behind us.
"What will we do now?" Julie asked.
I looked at the window then back at her, "I have a plan."
