Two R's Do Not Make a Right

Chapter 5

Kroos couldn't help but point out that there was tension and that "Ronny would not appreciate this type of tension!" Asensio could only laugh and blush. While I cooked, they sat around the kitchen counter discussing plans for the future in terms of teams. "I genuinely think Madrid is the team for me. I want to spend my entire career at the club if they are willing to have me." Asensio said this with a glint in his eyes. Kroos only laughed knowing that Asensio was probably going to be another Real Madrid success story. "Isco will lose his mind if you leave him because he isn't leaving anytime soon either." Kroos only smiled thinking of how close the two were. I always loved the bond the team has with one another and how involved they are in each of their lives. "So, Juliana - "Lia" "Lia, what are you doing career wise?"
"Well at the moment I'm studying Law obviously to continue the firm but I am honestly enjoying the courses and cannot wait to start practicing Law!"
"That's great! Not just a pretty face but intelligent too! Why has no one proposed to you yet?"
Kroos chose this time to voice his opinion "Two words bro Ronaldo and Romero"
" I haven't met anyone who is willing to surpass those two"
Marco looked as if he was contemplating something when I finally started dishing up the poached eggs and bacon with rye toast. Kroos, always been aware of my cooking skills, seemed unfazed and enjoyed his food. Marco decided to show his appreciation by shoveling his food while trying to compliment me at the same time. Definitely not a pretty sight.
When he decided he was finished, he looked at me curiously. More like stared and it started getting weird so I looked away. I made the decision to feed the dogs at this point to leave the tension-filled kitchen. When I returned, Marco was asking Toni about ways to persuade Ronaldo. Toni laughed and said "When it comes to Lia nothing can change that man's mind, she's to be left alone for the rest of her life!" Marco looked upset while I stood listening around the corner peering at his reaction. "Gio on the other hand is his weakness. Anything she says goes. That's your loophole but if you fuck up Gio WILL kill you followed by every person in that family. If you plan to mess around with her I will personally see to the disposal of your corpse." After Toni's rant he smiled and patted Marco on the shoulder, leaving him in the kitchen. I considered walking into the kitchen now but decided to rather call him to the tv to play FIFA.
"You're challenging a professional footballer to FIFA? Do you want to lose or lose badly? "
"Funny"
"What is funny?"
"You sound just like Sergio and I recall the last game we played I beat him 10-0"
"Well I'm definitely not Sergio" he smirked arrogantly.
*1 hour later*
Toni was on the floor dying of laughter while the arrogant smirk was wiped clean off of Marco's face as I just put my 7th goal into the net for the second time. He then decided that we don't need to play FIFA anymore and he feels like watching a movie. Not knowing my horror movie obsession he chose IT thinking I'd be terrified. Wrong again. Toni was cradling a pillow while Marco looked frightened. I was completely bored of the movie and my legs were in pain. Marco jumped a total of 5 times into my lap after getting the fright of his life or so he said. At the end I decided I was going to pick the movies. I chose comedies because I don't think my legs could've taken anymore of a grown mans weight being placed upon them time and time again. And he thought I was going to be scared. By the time we finished our movie marathon Marco left and Toni was dragging himself out of the house. " Please don't tell Ronny I had anything to do with you two. I don't need my butt kicked thank you very please?"
"What makes you think anything will happen?"
"Oh I don't think, I know" he waved and finally drove off allowing me to get some sleep. Tomorrow was going to be a heck of a Friday with both Enzo and Marco here.
