I decided that I would make use of Ronaldo's glorious pool today because those two idiots don't seem to be pitching on babysitting duty. Music to my ears. I changed into my favorite olive green costume and shades ready for a day by the poolside. Alone. What I have been looking forward to since the beginning of this holiday is finally coming true! I lounged on the pool chair admiring the great weather when my ringtone blared from the counter. My mom decided she wanted to FaceTime while bragging about everything they were doing, not that it fazed me much. I decided then and there to excuse myself from that day-long phone call waiting to happen. Just as I put my phone on the counter, Chris Brown decided to reiterate his lyrics as I once again answered my cellular device. The moment I saw Enzo's face appear on the screen I sighed knowing what I got myself into. Why did he have to phone me from some other number you ask? Well because I would definitely have not answered if I knew it was this dweeb.
"Hey Hom- Are you in a swimming costume?"
"No- yes of course you fool now what do you want!"
"Well Marco and I decided that we were going to give you some space today but since you're swimming we can come join you! No one likes swimming alone!"
"Great!" I said with a straight face.
"Now that I see you're so keen we'll make sure to leave home right now!"
Problem being Enzo stays one road over meaning they'll be here in 5,4,3,2,
*Doorbell*
I left the door knowing Enzo to just walk in, which he proceeded to do. Problem was the room was completely silent as I was scrolling through Instagram. I thought they left to change or something when two pairs of freezing cold hands grasp my ankles and wrists. I didn't even try to protest because I knew my fate and that I was destined to be thrown into that pool. Luckily I had the sense to take off my shades and leave my phone on the couch as they picked me up. You always have to be prepared for the worst when it comes to Enzo. After their "hilarious" prank they joined me in the pool as we laughed and acted as if we were 10 years old. After tiring ourselves out we layed poolside discussing life. No joke we had an actual serious conversation. Marco was slowly becoming the Buttercup to our trio. Me being Blossom and Enzo definitely Bubbles.
