Paper Hearts - Chapter 2

Madeleinee's POV

-- 7:30 A.M --

"Wake up you ungrateful piece of crap!" My dad said, actually no, screamed at me from outside my bedroom door whilst banging his fist on it like it was trying to fight him or something. [terrible comparison I know 😂]

Yeah, after my mum passed away this is what I wake up to every morning... Its been 10 years since my mum was taken from me, my dad turned to alcohol and completely ahut me out because I reminded him of "her" so much... I've just learnt to deal with it.

As I got out of bed, I ran straight to my little ensuite to have a shower for school, I washed my body, hair and made sure I shaved.. After I got out, I put on my dark blue skinny jeans, a purple tank top and tan leather jacket with my white platform converses then straightened my hair... Who needs makeup??. I raced down to the kitchen, grabbed an apple and even though I'm treated like crap, said goodbye to my dad which he responded to with a hungover grunt. As soon as I was outside, my Sky Blue Volkswagen Bug was waiting for me as I jumped in and headed off to, wait for it... school yay... (Note the sarcasm)
