Paper Hearts - Chapter 3

Thomas' POV

Marie - "Come on Tom, wake up... You'll be late"

-- 8:35 AM --

Thomas - "Sure thing Mum"

As I woke up, I could feel my eyes burning due to the fact my blinds were open... I quickly raced to the shower, washed my hair and got dressed into my dark blue jeans, grey t-shirt and red converses and styled my hair into a little quiff... don't worry ladies, I put on deodorant.

I quickly checked my Facebook before racing downstairs... "You look good today son, all the girls will be over you" my mum said whilst trying to hold back a laugh... In all honesty, even I couldn't hold back a little chuckle.

"Thanks mum, I doubt that will happen but, thanks" I grabbed an apple just as my mum raced over and ruined my hair... "Mum" I whined... "My hair". Before she could say anything I raced down to my new truck from my Uncle Wyatt. "Bye, I love you" I shouted from my car...

"Off to school... What fun!" I mumbled as I pulled out of my driveway.

"Aye, Tom, did you hear the news?" My friend Jake said as I entered 6th period, PE Class

"No" I dragged out, "But enlighten me on this 'wonderful' news" I said as I changed into my workout clothes. "Some new girl is coming all the way from Chicago man, I overheard Chloe Gordon talking about it, saying the new girl is her cousin or something by the way Chloe described her... She sound pretty hot" Jake told me.

As I was about to reply, Coach Brennan came and basically screamed at us to run 25 laps before we could have some time to relax and talk... Ugh, I hate him.
